We had bought several types of gate trying to find something that would work at the bottom of our stairs that had spindles on one side and a chair rail on the other side. We tried the plastic yard by the same company, but we then had an issue with tripping as we would step over it. This gate has a very sturdy feel to it-we are using it across a 10' opening and it doesn't bend or sway. The swing-open gate section is much better designed than any other gate I have tried-it latches very secure, but the push-down button makes for relatively easy adult opening. It also holds open by just opening it past 90 degrees. Very flexible and user-friendly gate.

Bought the superyard for my dachshund after he had surgery for IVDD and had to be confined. It is sturdy, easy to put together, looks nice and so much better than a crate. I love that he is confined to an area but the superyard does not distance him from the family. This is a great play pen and I definitely recommend it.

This is the perfect solution for my toddler. The gates are very well made. They don't tip, skid or bend. The joints lock and unlock to provide more stability. I can use it as a play yard, or stretch it out and cordon off larger areas that should stay out of reach of those little fingers. My little girl is very strong and hangs on this gate, and tries to push it over, but it doesn't budge. I DO recommend getting the extension piece along with it -- as a play yard, the 6-pc set is a bit small.

I've used this to section my baby off from our dogs and other hazards. As she is growing and crawling and walking it this system has remained incredibly useful. I can configure it however and it is easy to use. Plus it looks very nice, not at all cheap.

Very sturdy but when in an octogon very small. I recommend two of these or extentions. Hard to fit in places so I had to try it a few different ways but finally was able to rig it to the wall easily. The door is easy and convient it is very sturdy but not to heavy. It is a bit pricey but this site offered it at a fair price when I ordered it. Much cheaper than the big name baby store.Also good because you can bend it any direction. Overall a good buy that I should be able to use again when I more.
