The Superyard Gate came nicely packaged and required very little time or effort to assemble. The wood is very nicely polished, so it looks great in our living room where we have other wooden furniture. The height is considerable, compared to similar products, and door's locking system is very secure. Clearly, it's not a cheap product but fully worth the extra cost. One disadvantage is the small floor space that the baby has to play inside. To add more square footage, we bought the two-leaf Superyard Extension offered by North States Industries and now our six-month baby has enough space to move around (which he loves to do). I am certain it will last us a good while, even as the baby starts walking on his own.

Very sturdy. Beautifully made. We will use this for our children and grandchildren. I am 5'11" and it goes up to my hips. The gate works well, you open it with one hand and you can keep it open or close it and it locks itself. We bought the extension kit to make the area a little larger for the baby. It's very nice!!
