The story behind the first ECO-friendly high-performance baby diaper

It took a concerned Swedish mother to make it. Marlene Sandberg, former law firm partner and the mother of two boys:
“It all started with a newspaper article. It said that every year of a baby’s life resulted in a mountain of used diapers weighing half a ton, every year.  Half a ton! Even more disturbing was the fact that the traditional diapers were mainly made of plastic made from oil!! An oil product that comes in contact with the child’s delicate skin. I got really upset. Couldn’t this be done better?”

Nature babycare is the result of many years of intense work and development:
-The first ECO-friendly high-performance diaper, based on new green technology, protected by a Swedish patent.
-Soft, thin, comfortable and with perfect sizing.
-With an exclusive chlorine free absorbent material.
-With natural based material against the baby’s skin, breathable and extremely kind for the baby.
-And performance as well as the best “traditional” diapers.

Marlene: “I don’t believe in compromises or shortcuts. If you want an ECO-friendly diaper to be successful, it must perform at least as well or better than the best “traditional” diapers.”

Comments about Nature Babycare Pack Diapers - Sizes 1,2,6 - Old look, new price:

I love these diapers and think they are one of the greenest options, MAYBE even greener than cloth.

I highly recommend them for all ages EXCEPT NEWBORNS WHO STILL HAVE THEIR UMBILICAL STUMP. Nature Babycare diapers don't seem uncomfortable, but they are very stiff, and I am convinced that the size and stiffness of their size 1s are what knocked our baby's umbilical stump off early, before her belly button was healed. That has resulted in two trips to the pediatrician...

GREAT diapers but WAIT till the umbilical stump falls off! Until then, go ahead and use one of the mainstream brands with an umbilical notch.

Comments about Nature Babycare Pack Diapers - Sizes 1,2,6 - Old look, new price:

I was really excited when I found this product. I am a SAHM of 3 children. We really try to make eco friendly choices. I was happy to find a product that had great reviews, was eco friendly, biodegradeable and chemical free. They are stiff on the outside but soft on the inside so that did not bother me. Perhaps it is because I have really small babies but they just did not work for us and we ended up with pampers. They leaked several times, and it was hard to get a tight fit on the tapes. I think this product could be really amazing and I would consider trying them again in the future if they were a bit more contoured (they are square and not form fitting at all) and had elasitc type around the legs. I also tried putting a cloth diaper cover over to protect clothing from blow outs but it did no good.
I would reccomend trying them, they may work for you but ultimantly I think they need some tweaking on design.

These diapers are amazing!! Never had any leaks or problems. The diapers just went through a series of improvements and I have to say the diapers are much softer and stretchier than before. They fit my chubby toddler well and have no chemicals, odors, etc. The best part is that they are compostable!! A local diaper service we belong to composts these diapers back into dirt in about 14 weeks so they don't sit in a landfill....WOOOO HOOOO!! I have recommended these diapers AND the diaper service to so many friends---and all of them are very happy! Couldn't be more thrilled--I won't buy anything else!

These diapers have been improved in the past 6 months - they have redone the tabs to fit better, the smell has improved (a wet diaper used to smell bad), and they have labelled the size on the diaper (my twins sometimes wear different sizes and it used to be difficult to tell who gets what diaper). They also appear to be softer and less stiff than they were a few months ago. We use these diapers when out and about and at night. We use cloth at home. These diapers are highly absorbent (good for 12 hours overnight) and we have had no trouble with leaks or blowouts. I love the fact that they are all paper, with no chemicals or gels. The only thing to note is that they run very small. Get one size up.

At first when I got these diapers and tried them I loved them, but then I noticed after 4 days of use the tabs were sharp and left red marks on my babys skin. I am really sad because this is the best eco-diaper out there and I really wanted it to work. I just hate seeing my little one with red marks all over him.

Other than that they were great

I had high hopes for these diapers. I've used the Nature Babycare wipes and loved them so I was excited to try a cheaper chlorine-free diaper. I was so disappointed. They aren't very absorbant and leaked. They didn't make through the night with my 13 month old, and she isn't even a heavy wetter. They also don't close very well so I couldn't roll them up and close them to throw them away. We only use disposables occasionally so I'm going to stick to the Seventh Generations, which we've never had a problem with

I used to love these diapers and have used them for my now 2.5 year old right from the time she was born. She never had a rash or anything. However the newer design and construction of these diapers is very bad. They leak almost daily. The fit went from being a "rectangle" to having curves. The diapers are very flimsy and cannot withstand being worn overnight. These are for sizes 3 and 4. We never had any problems till our most recent order. Needless to say unless they fix the problem, we won't be going back to these diapers.

These diapers are the best regarding any type of disposable brand. I find that they are better than any other disposable brand I have tried and the company is trying its best to make them 100% biodegradable. The packaging is smart and recyclable. We toss ours in a biodegradable trash bag to allow it to decompose better in the landfills.

We use g-diapers during the day and Nature Babycare diapers during the night or when on trips. We have been doing this for over a year for my 21 month old son. At first, the Nature Babycare diapers seem stiff compared to the other diapers with all the plastic elasticity. But once you get use to the feel and putting them on, they are great. They are very absorbent. The tabs never come off when we use them nor do they leave any marks. I hope more people will use them since they are much much more eco-friendly then most diapers out there.

They are sadly disappointing. I wanted to give these a try even though I was always an avid Pampers Swaddler sensitive user(they unfortunately, don't go past sz 2, so I planned to switch to a different brand once my son outgrew them and I wanted to get an idea of what else could be just as good, better variety of sizes and better for the environment) I love the fact that these are natural, biodegradable, chlorine-free and don't have those stupid cartoons on them. However, I do have to say that I am GLAD I opted for the small pack and did NOT buy them in bulk b/c the quality is terrible yet they are outrageously priced. The tabs do not stick well to the diaper and they are like cardboard and dug into my son's legs leaving red marks! He cried when I put these on him. The sizing also runs very small; my 6mth old son is 16lbs and a little over 27in tall; he is long and lean for his age(75th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight). The size 2(which I used on him) was tight and it's supposed to go up to 18lbs! He wears sz 2 in the Swaddlers and he still has room to grow in those. I can only imagine what it would be like for a chunky baby to wear these...it would be a nightmare! He also leaked frequently from these, a problem I NEVER had w/ the Pampers Swaddlers sensitive I was using...With these Naty diapers, he developed a diaper rash; kinda weird seeing as these are supposed to be natural? I never had that problem w/ the Swaddlers...I will be going back to those and then to Huggies Pure&Natural when he gets into sz 3...Those are just as good as the Swaddlers. Spending the extra money on an earth-friendly(but otherwise poor quality) diaper is NOT worth sacrificing my son's comfort.

I hate giving a bad rating because I used these diapers for over a year and loved them. I thought they ran a little small, but the fit was good and they didn't leak. Recently, though, I got some packages of Size 4 diapers that fit really small and the tabs (which were redesigned to be curved, rather than squared at the ends) didn't stick well to the diaper. After a messy incidents, I decided to return those packages. I'd like to return to these diapers, but I'm afraid to buy a size 5 and have it be too big or have bad tabs. The whole matter is very disappointing and I'll wait to hear if they bring back the old design. I hope they do!!

I first purchased the Nature Babycare diapers at a children's resale shop in Indiana, and they were totally awesome. They hold more than the Pampers brand diapers that I usually would use. I liked these pampers so much that I just had to check out the website and see what other great products were made by this innovative mom inventor. Now if we could just get these pampers sold at our local grocery stores, it would be even
                          more convenient. Thanks sincerely,

I was excited to try these diapers because of their natural materials, etc. But I was sadly disappointed. They are stiff and uncomfortable feeling. My 2-month-old leaked out after only an hour. My 20-month-old did like wearing them at all. So bad I don't know what to do with the rest of the package.
