The story behind the first high-performance baby diaper

It took a concerned Swedish mother to make it. Marlene Sandberg, former law firm partner and the mother of two boys:
“It all started with a newspaper article. It said that every year of a baby’s life resulted in a mountain of used diapers weighing half a ton, every year.  Half a ton! Even more disturbing was the fact that the traditional diapers were mainly made of plastic made from oil!! An oil product that comes in contact with the child’s delicate skin. I got really upset. Couldn’t this be done better?”

Nature babycare is the result of many years of intense work and development:
-The first high-performance diaper, based on new green technology, protected by a Swedish patent.
-Soft, thin, comfortable and with perfect sizing.
-With an exclusive chlorine free absorbent material.
-With natural based material against the baby’s skin, breathable and extremely kind for the baby.
-And performance as well as the best “traditional” diapers.

Marlene: “I don’t believe in compromises or shortcuts. If you want a diaper to be successful, it must perform at least as well or better than the best “traditional” diapers.”

      Not reliable

Comments about Eco-Friendly Diapers Case - Sizes 1:

Not a reliable diaper. They leak frequently causing more laundry (not very eco friendly) and there were several diapers in the pack that were missing one or both tabs which could not be used (also not eco friendly). The tabs also only stick to the top portion of the diaper so they can not be tightly bundled once they are removed-not crucial, but it's annoying since we use a small diaper pail in our small apartment. The diapers are not super absorbent - now that our baby's sleeping longer during the night he often wakes up with wet PJs because he leaked through the diaper.

Comments about Eco-Friendly Diapers Case - Sizes 1:

Simply put, I regret bying these diapers because:
          1. the tabs irritate my baby's skin so much, that I've had to modify each diaper in order to use them up (I ended up having to cut the tab down in width so that it doesn't touch my baby's legs when closed - this is not a great addition to my schedule at the moment) my baby's legs are very average in size and other diapers have a softer tab which doesn't irritate the legs.
          2. when you are finished with the diaper, the velcro tabs do not stick to the rest of the diaper, so there is no way to neatly wrap the diaper up and seal it closed. this is an obvious thing that all parents want to do before tossing a soiled diaper in the bin.

These diapers are really wonderfu1l! We first started to use them when my daughter developed a horrible diaper rash after using Pampers with dry max. These diapers go the distance and since using them she has not had any more rashes. My only issue is that there seems to be some quality control issues as for every pack there is at least one diaper which does not have tabs.

I love these diapers and think they are one of the greenest options, MAYBE even greener than cloth.

I highly recommend them for all ages EXCEPT NEWBORNS WHO STILL HAVE THEIR UMBILICAL STUMP. Nature Babycare diapers don't seem uncomfortable, but they are very stiff, and I am convinced that the size and stiffness of their size 1s are what knocked our baby's umbilical stump off early, before her belly button was healed. That has resulted in two trips to the pediatrician...

GREAT diapers but WAIT till the umbilical stump falls off! Until then, go ahead and use one of the mainstream brands with an umbilical notch.

. We use and love cloth diapers but I wanted a green alternative for when we occasionally need sposies. I love that these are chemical free and much more biodegradable than even other "natural or chemical free" diapers. I wish these diapers were in stores near me because they are my favorite disposable diapers. I just buy several packs at a time from here to save on shipping and give them as baby shower gifts to hopefully promote greener babies. And the green leaf print is so simple and cute! We had a few blow-outs when my son was a newborn but not any more than with Huggies or Pampers. They are stiffer than other sposies but my son never seemed uncomfortable. He is a super soaker and these dipes can handle him for 12 hours at night without a leak. They also worked great on his very sensitive skin, never a rash with these. The size1 fit him from the beginning but he was 9 1/2 pounds at birth. Glad to hear they are working on a newborn size for those who need it.

The Size 1's are way off! They were way too small for my 12lb baby and the tabs cut into his hip crease because there was not enough diaper to wrap around under the tab. The tabs ended up leaving big red marks on his bare skin and must have been very uncomfortable. I gave the diaper 2 stars because they are absorbent and did not leak up the back like pampers... But if they are too uncomfortable and do not fit, they are not worth it. I found that Earth's Best is just as good and corrects the tab problem by using plenty of diaper to wrap around the hip crease under the tab.

I love these diapers! I considered cloth diapers, but was thrilled to find this truly green disposable. I've used some major brands both non- and semi- green (chlorine free) and these are by far the most reliable. I wish that more stores carried them. I'm excited that they are working on a newborn size too!

My husband and I wanted to have a green baby. We tried cloth diapers at first and hated it. They gave our baby constant diaper rash and clean up was a mess. Our water and electricity bill went up so how green were we really being. We were looking for disposable diapers that were biodegradable. We were so excited to find these. They fit well, they've never leak and our daughter loves them. They are Chloride free and fit like a glove. Our babysitter had never seen these diapers before and now she recommends them to all her clients. I will never go back to cloth diapers and the rash went away within days of switching and it's never been a problem since. I LOVE these diapers.

I use these diapers for my newborn and they work great! He is a big baby for his age (a little under 10lbs at 3 weeks) so that may be why they fit him well. I haven't had any more problems with leaking than with the other major brands.

I tried Nature Babycare diapers 2 years ago and I hated them. They didn't have stretchy tab and the cut of them seemed too tall. I was an avid cloth diaper user til my youngest son developed an intolerance to them. I tried everything but had to throw in the towel. I was searching around trying to find disposables that would be ok with his skin. I saw the reviews on here that were praising the new improved fit and design. I figure I'd give them another shot. I order 3 different brands to try (Nature Babycare, Earth's Best, and 7th Generation.) I like the fit and aborbancy of Nature Babycare the best! Plus I feel good that I'm paying for diapers that won't be sitting in the landfill. Cloth was my first choice but Nature Babycare is a great second choice!

We started out alternating these with the last of our pampers and really loved them. They are a little stiff and don't absorb as well as the pampers but they work for daytime use and they fit pretty well. When we started using them exclusively, my daughter developed a skin irritation under the waistband. She started to cry a bit every time we changed her. We stopped using them immediately and her rash disappeared. We really wanted these to work out since we love how they are earth friendly but they are too rough on our daughter's sensitive skin.

We switched to this diaper about a year ago for our baby girl, who is now almost 2 years old. They are a good fit for a girl...probably gap too much for boys, would most likely leak especially at night. For a girl, they are great for night use and absorb well. Since there are no dies or perfumes, there's no redness or soreness after sleeping in them all night. They are a little stiff and paper-like but she doens't seem to mind.
However, the last pack we recieved were missing the tape on one side which made them un-usable. I haven't had the time to contact the company. Also, we use the wipes which clean fine but always come out in a huge clump so don't know how much we're helping the environment since we go through about twice as many than we would another brand. We've switched back 7th Generation wipes and diapers for the time being. If I ever get around to contacting the company about the missing tape, I'll write another review about their response.

I ordered these to try and be a little more eco-friendly. I have been using Huggies Supreme Little Movers and haven't found anything I like better. I ordered a small pack of these to try them out and I was really pleasantly surprised. They are quite slim, highly absorbent, fairly soft, and the tabs are nice and stretchy for a good fit. I definitely like these as well as the Huggies. I will be using these from now on for my two year old and also for the new baby that is due to arrive in April.

I bought this product after my daughter kept getting diaper rashes and I couldn't figure out why the doctor said that she maybe allergic to something in the diapers. So I started trying different diapers and I came across these on the internet and decided I'd give them a try. After the first use my daughters rash was starting to go away, by the next day the rash was completely gone. Since then I have tried going back to regular diapers and every time I do the rash comes back so I think I will stick with these diapers. The only real downsides to these diapers are that they are kind of stiff and look a little uncomfortable, its also kind of hard to close up the diaper because the straps don't stick to the outside of the diaper.
