My son sleeps in this every night. I bought it after his 6 week growth spurt and he decided he would no longer sleep in his pack and play or his co sleeper. The first time I put him in this he napped for 4 hours! At 3 months the only places I can get him to sleep for more than 45 minutes are his swing and his nap nanny. I wish there was a handle to make it easier to transport but that is my only complaint.

My little one is 8 weeks old and won't nap in his cosleeper for anything, but he naps in this. We keep it in the same place in the living room and turn on a white noise machine next to it. This bed eases his acid reflux as well. We are pleased!

I was skeptical at first but after weeks of sleepless nights and a screaming infant I would have tried anything. The first night my son slept in this he slept for 9 hours straight, the second night he was up a bit more, but still slept for longer periods of time and I could tell was more rested. He breathes easier and doesn't seem to have any issue with his acid reflux at night now. The nap nanny is extremely well made, yet super light. Super soft and cozy too! This is going to be my baby gift item of choice going forward! Love it!!!! In fact the only way I think they could make this better is to install a vibration function to help soothe and calm baby!

My 6 week old was not sleeping well and I was looking for something that might help. I had heard about this product and decided to spend the money. Well, it did nothing for us, my son did not like it at all, was never able to get comfortable to take a nap, very disappointed, we spent a lot of money for nothing.

The "minky lime" nap nanny chill arrived and began to glow as we took it from the box. it is not a nice pale sage green as shown in the pictures; it is more of a pastel version electric lime. we sent it back and got the camel colored one instead; which is a very pale tan color in real life. The flat fabric is also softer than the minky dotted fabric; so i would recommend the flat fabric ones.

As far as the product goes: the nap nanny was recommended to us by a friend after we found out our baby has pretty severe acid reflux. He needed to sleep on a incline. We were concerned about elevating his mattress since he was only four weeks old and would slide down to the bottom. Any slings that attach to mattress have to be replaced as they grow and this just seemed more comfortable. It works well and helps with his reflux as he is elevated.

There are some definite flaws:
1. It is portable; but it is very awkward to pick up one handed (which as any knew mom knows-you pretty much have to everything one handed). I might sew a handle onto the back of mine so i can move it more easily. it does not slide on carpet, so i pick it up a lot.
2. Part of the recall was stressing proper placement. This product must be placed on the floor away from any walls or furniture. We have a dog and two cats which means we have to lock them out of whatever room the nap nanny is in or but the hexagonal baby gate around it. The reason for the placement is even though babies are strapped in they have flipped their heads or bodies over the side and suffocated. It seems as though a series of straps (maybe velcro) could be attached to it which would allow you to lash it to the side of the crib where it would be safe and the baby would be more protected.
3. The buckles on the straps click very loudly and startle my baby almost every time resulting in waking him up about 50% of the time. we have started loosening the straps all the way and sliding him out the top so that we don't have to use the buckles. The buckles on his swing are just as secure but much quieter.

This works great for my baby. She doesn't sleep well lying flat so this is a great option. She caught a cold at 5 weeks and this was a life saver. It helped with the congestion so she could sleep. It fits perfectly in her co-sleeper bassinet. I put it in there at night so she isn't on the floor in it. She also enjoys sitting in it and looking around. We bring it with us when visiting people so she has some place besides her carseat to relax. It's lightweight and soft. The one downfall is that my baby gets warm in it sometimes. It is bigger than I thought it would be but my baby is only 7 weeks so there is plenty of room for her to grow and still use it.

The Nap Nanny helps so much with my son's spitting up and gas. He sleeps in it at night and the first night we got it, he started sleeping SO much better. Even if your baby doesn't have reflux, it seems much more comfortable than the typical bouncy chair so I would still recommend it. And, I think the giraffe print is just so adorable for a boy or a girl.
