      Great Book

When I first introduce this book to my daughter, she would just stare at it while I read to her. Around 10 months, she actually signed back. Now, at 15 months, she will sign and say the words. It is such a show off book for me. I will let her read the book to her grandparents when they visit.

      I bought another for Daycare

I love this book. Within 3 times of reading this book, my 15 month old was doing 1/2 of the signs! I'm amazed at how easy they are to learn and how fun to see my baby communicate during a usually frustrating time in his life. I highly recommend this book and I'm now ordering the others.

      baby signs

I am disappointed that these books do not use American Sign Language (ASL). I bought the whole set and they are using different signs - if I use them they may confuse my 8 month old who is learning ASL through SigningTime videos. I thought the books would compliment the videos. I was wrong.

      The Best Baby Sign Book

The simplicity of the pictures and the fact that it shows a baby doing the signs, might be the reason why my 13 month old is learning the signs so fast! Great addition if you use DVDs too.

      Worth their weight in gold

I bought these books after checking and rechecking them out from the library 4 times. My daughter started looking at these books when she was 9 months old, and now at 18 months she does every sign in every book. It was well worth the money and it is so cute to see her signing.
