My 11 month old daughter's face immediately broke out after applying. We have sensitive skin in our family, but not THAT sensitive to where I've ever had any problems with ANY other baby products. However, after a day and her poor little face is still bright red and very irritated. I loved Mustela products until I tried this one. The only reason I rated two stars is due to that reason and the fact I love the scent. If you love Mustela and want a face cream, pay the extra and buy the Stelaprotect!

I have used this face lotion on my 13 month old since she was an infant. She has relatively sensitive skin and has never had a bad reaction. This product is excellent for the winter months and good through summer as well. She always looks well hydrated and refreshed after it is applied. People have commented on how healthy her skin looks. Plus, it smells great!

Horrible! My son had scaly dry skin around his forehead and near his eyebrows. After I applied this creme once it made it worse. He got a really bad allergic reaction and it took 2 weeks for it to heal. I guess my son has sensitive skin but you never know until times like this. My advice is to always treat your baby as if he has senitive skin because you never know.

My daughter's face was really dry in the winter. She was pretty little when I first used the lotion on her, around 5 weeks. It did make her face break out with little red bumps. I used it a few times and same thing happened each time. So I put the lotion away for a bit and now that she is 5 months we use it on her cheeks every night after her bath and it's great! I really love this product and have recommended it to my other friends with babies! My daughter gets rosy, chap cheeks and this works great! It's not greasy and smells great!

I started using this product last winter when my daughter's cheeks were very chapped and red and it has been wonderful at preventing the same problem this winter. I highly recommend it for normal skin for everyday use.

My 6 month old developed really sore chapped checks from all the drooling and cold winter air. He would scream when I tried to wipe his face after eating. After 2 days of using this cream, 2 times a day, his checks are back to normal and no more crying. It has a very nice scent also.

I use it on my daughter everyday. cold cream at night, and this lotion during the day. I don't really see any difference in using this product and not using this product. My baby's skin is soft and moist only at that moment, and it doesn't restore moisture, nor last few hours. My baby's skin remains dry again after couple of hours of application.

My baby has a red and bumpy face after using it. However my baby and our family don't have sensitive skin at all. So there must be something in it. I don;t recommend it.

It is kind of funny that we use a different product for our babies faces because babies have such soft and smooth skin already! So I was skeptical at first when I received this as a sample. This product is very light but effective. There is a very faint but fresh fragrance to the cream. My son's face is so smooth and delicious after I apply this. I would highly recommend it! I really do recommend all of Mustela's products too.

The stickiness goes away after awhile but I find it a bit unpleasant. I do use it anyway because my baby (2 now) also has always had sensitive skin and eczema. I also wonder if it is the same product as the" Lait de toilette" just repackaged!

This lotion goes on very nicely and smooth onto a baby's face, but I must say that I bought it thinking it had SPF in it since it's advertised as a skin protectant. Since customers said the other Mustela sun lotions and skin protector's stained, I thought this would be a nice alternative. I'm not sure how it protects against the sun if there's no SPF. But, I guess it functions well for wind and dryness which are the weather conditions where I live and so far we've seen no staining which is a good thing.

I thought this product would be great because my baby has a family history of sensitive skin. Unfortunately, this product made her skin more red and bumpy than it was when I put it on. I used it once all over her face. After her skin cleared up (2 days). I put it only on her right cheek. Again, she became red and bumpy. We switched to Eucerin and she's much better. We loved the scent, but unfortunately can't use the product.
