This lotion works wonders for my 4 month old son's eczema. After only a few days' use, I noticed a huge difference! No more dry patches on his body. My pediatrician recommend Hydrolatum, a "whipped" petroleum jelly, but it left him greasy and his skin did not absorb it well. His face is another story, as this product is not recommended for use on oozing sores. I use Stelatopia cream cleanser and AQUAPHOR on his face which works much better than Hydrolatum. Before this Stelatopia line of products were recommend to me, I felt so hopeless and sorry for my baby. I am avoiding the overuse of hydrocortisone on his face. But now I feel it's more under control with this combination.

I use this moisturizer everyday on my 7 month old skin. I have used it since he was a newborn. He has sensitive skin. This was the only product I found that did not have harmful ingredients. This moisturizer is really good because it truly moisturizes the skin leaving it very soft and non- greasy!

I was so happy to discover Mustela products for my newborns itchy exzema prone skin. It goes on great and puts a layer of protection on his skin that keeps him from scratching himself.

If you struggle finding the right eczema cream, this is worth a try. This was once a lifesaver and a staple lotion for our son who has very stubborn eczema. He is 3 years old now and it does not help AT ALL. He also complains that is stings. I am so disappointed because it worked WONDERS when he was a baby.

This cream is extremely moisturising, absorbs incredibly well and is smooth and soft and odourless. I slather it onto my son's skin after bathtime and my pediatrician suggested I moisturise him in the morning and during the day as well since my son (6 months) suffered from a bout of eczema recently. Prior to this I wasn't really moisturizing my son's skin after bathtime because he was so little but he developed dry skin and then eczema and we were actually prescibed a steroid-based cream for 7 days which completely removed the eczema. In conjunction we started using this Mustela moisturizer which is specifically beneficial for very dry skin and eczema and his eczema has not returned and his skin feels very soft with no dry patches at all.

I cannot rave about Mustela enough - I love the fact that it is free of Parabens and harsh chemicals and that it is so gentle and effective. We have used the cradle cap cream (worked like dream), the newborn foam shampoo, the baby shampoo, the diaper rash cream, Stelatopia range for body and face, the Stelatopia cream cleanser and also most recently the regular Mustela bath gel. The regular Mustela products smell divine too whereas the Stelatopia range is odourless.

my daughter's chest and stomach felt like leather due to severe dry skin. Nothing worked for her. I tried this as a last resort, and haven't turned back! THis is the best moisturizer ever. Totally worth the price!

It's a very good moisturizer but it didn't cure my son's eczema.if your baby only have minor dry patches then this might help.my son's rash is red and flaky and this cream did not do anything to us

My daughter struggles with eczema, dryness and irritation on her chin. So far, besides pharmaceuticals, this has been the only product which keeps the rash at bay. It is expensive, so I have tried to switch to other, cheaper versions, without success. I have learned my lesson, and now will ONLY use this lotion on my daughters face!

My son has had ezcema since he was about 2 months old. His eczema had gotten so bad that it required testing, prescription steroids and oral medication to get it under control. After purchasing every cream, lotion, oil, detergent and sensitive product one can think of, I had no choice but to try this one. I was reluctant to purchase it since I had previously purchased their regular shampoo, lotions, and body wash and it just irritated his skin but I thought what the heck I've tried all others and believe me I was a skeptic. I never thought this cream would be my secret weapon against eczema. I noticed a 100 percent improvement in his skin in ONLY 12 HOURS. This stuff is worth every penny. If your child his eczema, this cream is worth a try. I wish someone would have told me about it sooner.

One of my toddlers had dry, flakey red patches on her inner elbows and behind her knees. She also had raised, dry skin on her upper arms and calves. After the first use of this lotion (with the bath cleanser) I noticed a major difference. There is still a slight discoloration but it fades daily and the raised, dry skin has all but vanished. It IS pricey, but well worth it. A+

My little 5 wk. old has really bad eczema and after reading all the reviews for the Mustela Stelatopia line I decided to go for it and get this. I cannot rave enough about it! After using it for about three days my sons eczema is almost completely gone. The scent is not overpowering, it's not greasy and absorbs quickly. And best of all it healed his eczema so quickly. His pediatrician was amazed at how quickly it cleared up. I'm so happy with this product and would tell everyone mom about it. It's amazing!!!

Do try this lotion before using steroidal cream!My baby has had very dry scaly spots all over his legs, underneath his ears, and on the side for months. After all other types of lotions failed, my doctor prescribed a very strong (and insanely expensive!) steroidal cream which worked, but I wanted something milder. It made the severely dry and rough skin buttery soft in 3 days! We were so amazed and I regretted not having gotten this lotion sooner. The lotion is a bit on the greasy side when you first apply, but does absorb well. Highly recommend this product!

I used this product to treat my daughter's eczema on her face for about a month. It didn't work. It is a good moisturizing cream but not for eczema treatment. Try Cetaphil cream; it saved my daughter's skin.

My 9 week old developed moderate Eczema on his face and arms. I decided to try the Stelatopia cream and wash. The very next day his face had cleared conciderably and now 4 days later you would never guess he had dry, red, peely skin a few days earlier. So glad I bought it. It is pricey and worth every penny!!!
