As soon as baby's bottom shows sign of a rash, I apply a thin layer. Seems to resolve the rash within 1-2 days. Have never used another rash cream and don't plan to.

Yes this product does sting but... my poor daughter has had a horrible problem with diaper rash, it was so bad that even if I would wait till she was done pooping a rash would start! Not just a rash but open sores! I tried everything from perscriptions, over the counter, to letting her be naked and then cleaning up her messes. I have bought ALL the products on the market, were talking hundreds of dollars and nothing helped my daughter! Till this!! She has been free of a bad rash since I started using this! Now when ever we see her start to get pink we put it on and it is GONE by the next change!! It's not something to use all the time, for every change we use vaseline and cornstarch for cooking! I know she can't be the only baby to have such a horrible problem, good luck!! It's is sooo worth the money! I am a single mom and money is tight but...

I thought this cleared up my daughter's redness quickly, but like the other customer, she cried immediately upon application. It was obviously stinging her skin. Plus, it's very expensive for the size of the tube. I will be going back to original Desitin, which is a little stickier, but just as effective with no crying!

I brought every cream possible to clear my first daughters diaper rash. I finally looked on the internet to find something that must people recommended, I decided to try this mustela and I am glad I did. On the first use it cleared my daughters rash I think its worth the money and its the best.

Although this works reasonably well to clear up diaper rash, both of my children (one boy and one girl) complain of stinging upon application. My daughter cried so much that we needed to remove it.

Works quickly to clear up diaper rash and prevents a new rash from appearing. Also does not "rinse" off in a wet diaper like the Mustela Vitamin Barrier Cream does. Excellent product!

My one month old is particularly sensitive and diaper rash has been a problem. The only thing that has allowed it to heal is providing lots of air time and using Stelactiv and Tushies gel free diapers.

I used this after trying some 15 or so different brands as my baby daughter has very sensitive skin which once irritated quickly turns into full sores that look sooo red and raw.
Because of the word 'enzyme' I decided this cream might be different and worth trying (and also because the other reviews were positive). SO glad I did!
It goes on easily, like a lotion (not slow and sticky like other diaper rash creams, which when baby's bottom is so raw actually seem to remove more skin) but stays place on skin, and within 1-2 hours has treated all of her sores - which is amazing. Highly highly recommend.

My 12 month old granddaughter suffered with severe to moderate diaper rashes off and on. She has also had severe eczema since birth. I have purchased and tried every product I could find, NONE compare to this. Applies so easy, doesn't inflict more discomfort on baby, not thick and greasy. Begins working almost immediately. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I strongly recommend this product. It cleared up my newborns diaper rash. I had a routine of this product, leaving her without a diaper for about 7-10 minutes (even is she made a little mess on the change pad), and I used the mustela wipes also, and changed to Tender Care diapers. This stuff is expensive, but works like a charm. I ran out of this stuff and thought I could replace it with the stuff they sell inthe supermarket, the common brands. She got a few more bumps and irritation. I quickly ordered again and started my old routine. Again, in a few days, it was gone!

I tried this based on the reviews and it after 3 days it actually made my little guy's rash worse. I got the boudreaux's instead and it cleared within 2 days.

My son had severe diaper rash and was recommended triple paste by his pediatrican. After a few trys the triple paste didn't work and I saw this product in France when traveling. I immediately bought it knowing Mustela's other products and couldn't believe how quickly and effectively this worked the next time my son had a a bad diaper rash. This product is great, I am glad that is is finally available in the US.

My son has "stubborn" diaper rash and no cream has controled his condition as well as stelactiv. The texture is great (no paste, not oily...)!
