My son is 5 months old and we've been using these spoons for a month now. They're great. I love that they turn white if the food is too warm. They're also the perfect size for an infant mouth. I definitely recommend them!

I always check the food anyways before I feed it to my baby. With the spoon turning white, I know I should wait a minute before even I test it.

I really don't care for these spoons. The handle is really thin, narrow and sharp, actually. It cuts into the side of your finger if you hold with any level of tightness. Given that the baby is always grabbing for the spoon, you have to hold it tightly. Still, it often slips out of my hand and there's baby food everywhere. As far as the feature that checks the temperature of the food goes, it's kind of useless. I mean, you're really not supposed to heat baby's food anyway and you can stick your finger in to make sure if it's too hot.

I bought these for my daughter's second spoon. At the first time she used smller spoons than these, which were made in Japan. Those were great for under 8-month baby, but too small for over 8-month baby. So I bought these and have been using them satisfied. Good size to feed toddlers. Safe, not boring, not hard tips. I recommend these sppons! :D

I have been using this everyday for 2 months. So far no problems. Easy to use and clean. The cover over the spoon turns white if it comes in contact with anything hot.

Although the spoons do exactly what they're supposed to do, I can't get past the fact that they stained immediately upon entering a bowl of carrot puree. And not only did they stain, but it seems to be more of a build-up and I have tried everything to get it off but it's just not happening. I do like the fact that the spoon changes color, but I can only see the color change closer to the handle because all 4 spoons are bright orange. In the picture, you can clearly see the stains, and this is after washing them many times.

When my daughter started cereal and I realized that she liked the cereal warmed - these spoons immediately became a very important utensil. Sometimes, the food was warmer than I thought. When you stir the food with the spoon - if the food is too hot, the spoon will turn white. This indicates it may be too hot for your baby. This is also great for when you have a caretaker who isn't very intuitive. It takes the guesswork out of it and everyone wins. I highly recommend this product. This is another part of the baby shower gift I put together for my cousin.

I have used these spoons with all of my children and am ordering more to replace the ones we lost. I wash them in the dishwasher and they have held up very well. After 3 years, the temperature indicator still works great. They are not the best "first" spoons--we had a little more extruding with these while baby was first learning. But once infant cereal/solids are established, this is my favorite feeding spoon. Also, my littlest one likes to bite the spoons and these are holding up better than the molded plastic ones.

These are great little baby spoons. I first used them eleven years ago and I am buying more today for my youngest. I was glad to see they still make them. For the other reviewers comments on food stains I don't know of much that carrots do not stain including the baby.

These spoons are great. Soft enough for introducing my six month old to solid foods, but durable enough to withstand the dishwasher. (I can't remember if these are supposed to be put on the top rack, but they have been fine so far with the other utensils on the bottom rack). The "turn white when hot" feature is helpful but overly sensitive, because sometimes the food is just warm but the spoon will turn white.

I just love these!! They are the perfect size and shape for new eaters. My twin boys are learning to eat their first foods with these.

The turning white aspect when it gets too hot is so awesome!! Yet, I find not useful, as it turns white when the food is warm, but not too warm for them to eat.

First, I did the sentimental thing and used my baby spoon that my mother had kept to feed my son. He did not like the feel of the metal in his mouth. These are soft-bite spoons and very comfortable for him. The color change warning when things are too hot is a great bonus.
