Comments about Stay Put Suction Bowls:

This would be ideal if it actually worked. The bowls just won't stick, Whether the surface is clean or wet. I even ordered a second set thinking I got a bad batch & they didn't sick either. Don't waste your money!

Comments about Stay Put Suction Bowls:

I knew reading the reviews for all types of suction bowls that nothing was childproof. I tried all of the tricks, different surfaces, getting it wet, etc. but nothing worked. They are cute bowls with great lids and work well for snacks on the go. I have a 15 month old & a 2 year old who can pry the suction off in less time than it takes me to stick it on, but try as they might they cannot get these lids off (like they can with tupperware)! Overall I am now pleased with my purchase not for the original intent of finding a bowl that would stay put but for the end result: finding a bowl with a nice fitting lid that was good for traveling!

Attn R&D: Make these bowls stackable rather than suction and market them for food on the go and you'll get 5 stars!

Comments about Stay Put Suction Bowls:

I think these bowls are pretty good. After using them for many months and trying everything to get them to hold firmly on the highchair tray, I think I have discovered the trick: Wet the bottom of the suction thing, then wipe your wet hand over the highchair tray so that any little food bits are wiped away and the tray is also damp. Then shove the bowl down firmly. They stick pretty well with this method, even though my 17 months old grab and tug and push with all their might. Could help that I am sticking the bowls to a plastic tray--I would imagine that a wooden table or anything with crevasses would not work. Only complaint is that they can't go in the microwave. And I'm actually not sure if they are BPA free, but if you don't microwave them or store fatty foods in them for some time, may not be an issue.

When I got these Stay Put Bowls and Plates for a baby shower gift I thougt "What a great idea!" WRONG!!! They do not "Stay Put". They work fine as regular bowls and plates but dont set them on your baby's high chair and think that your baby isn't going to be able to toss them onto the floor like everything else.

These bowls stay suctioned for about 30 seconds, even without trying to remove them. My 10 month old can remove them from his tray. The lids are also a pain to get on, but at least the lids work.

Comments about Stay Put Suction Bowls:

I love the idea of having a bowl that stays in place- both to help our daughter so she can eat on her own more easily, but also so she doesn't make as much of a mess. BUT, the bowl doesn't stay suctioned! I have to re-push it down on the table every other minute to re-establish the suction. This part is annoying, and I just wish they would stay suctioned as well as I'd hoped. I've tried wetting the bottom, but it doesn't seem to help.

The suction barely lasts two minutes. I have to constantly press them back down. The Boon Catchbowl lasts longer. Cute set of bowls with lids. The lids are a little difficult to snap on.

Comments about Stay Put Suction Bowls:

Like most of the reviews, I agree that the suction part of these bowls do not stick very well, because baby can pull it out. However, it's better than a regular bowl without the suction part. My only other comments are that the medium-size bowl doesn't fit very well with its lid and that the bowls are not microwavable.

Unfortunately, I regret buying these bowls because they don't stay suctioned well. I've tried them on a variety of surfaces, but they always just seem to undo themselves. My 14-month old daughter isn't actually trying to move the bowl; the suction just comes undone while she is grabbing for snacks. So.... I guess I'll just use them as regular bowls.

If you are purchasing these bowls with a purpose of their suction functionality (which was why I chose this over others), then you might be disappointed. They don't suction very well and will come off easily in less than 1 minutes. My baby had been able to pull it up even when she was just 6-month old.

I like the colorful bowls and they come with lids and stackable.I'm using them more for packing snacks, to-go meals. etc.
