Don't bother buying this for it's temperature sensitivity. It doesn't work and I think you know if the bath water is alright. We bought it just because it's a ducky, and it sure is! Note: it does not squeak!

The "HOT" goes white when I lick it...not very accurate for bath temp. I have a stick on thermometer in the tub from my twins 'preemie tubs' in the NICU, so I know the accurate temp of the water and this duck doesn't jive with it. It's a cute toy and my twins like it, but no different then if it were a cheaper, normal rubber duckie.

The product is the good quality, but I don't know what happen I order my firs three toys and the little ducky is one of them, I get the three toy in bad condition, the litlle ducky was dirty as if it had been thrown, I feel so sad for my babie, because this was a present, I think we should control the hygiene and value to your costumers. Sorry but you need check this. Not destroy the trust of its loyal customers.

My little guy loves this toy! He used to hate baths and scream as soon as the tub water was turned on. We started watching a clip of the rubber ducky song before bath time and he would hold this toy and smile. When the song was over, I would bring him to the tub and count to 15 while we waited for rubbery ducky to test the water. He wanted to get to the duck, so he didn't mind when I put him in the water after that. Worked like magic.

The only minor issue is that the temperature sensor is nowhere near exact. It will turn white when the water is really hot, but it starts to change color when it gets comfortable for baby. I use the sensor as a back up. I wait until I think the water feels comfortable to me and then I toss rubber ducky in just to be sure.

Great to test the temperature of the bath water. I've used it for every bath since my daughter was born. Now that she is 7 months old it pulls double duty as her favorite bath toy and teether! We love the rubber ducky!
