Bought this and my daughter loves it. It does an excellent job at protectin my daughter from banging her head or hurting herself on the spout which has always been my main concern. I didnt know it had a bubble bath dispenser until after. The hole is very small so i had to stick a needle thru. Because of its small size the bubble bath is to thick to get thru so i found that adding some water helps. After that it works great. As for the mildew issue i remove it after every bath and let it dry because anything with water just sitting around in it will get mildew so i let it dry off. And i do wish it had an opening near the top for shower conversion.

This is really very cute, but it was so hard to get off the spout after the bath. It should have a hole for the shower converter so you can keep it on.

This is a nice spout guard. My 15 month old girl likes to pour water on it and inside the ducks hat. It does NOT make ANY bubbles as stated on the package or instructions. At least it didn't for us, maybe you have to have a different/special kind of tub spout. It does fit VERY well and it does protect her from getting hurt. But don't get it just because of the bubbles. My daughter does like to give the duck a kiss on the beek and tells her goodbye when the bath is over. She also plays peep-eye with the duck when we are not in the bathtub. So all in all she likes the duck spout guard but she doesn't realize it should make bubbles so it is just a disappointment to me, for now.
