Mountain Boy Sledworks Ultimate Flyer Sled is handmade by innovative people who love sledding. The flyer is made of planks of beautiful birch which are later planed down. The planks are sanded and burnt to give them strength. After constructing the flyer, it is coated by multiple layers of a marine grade finish to protect it from weather elements. To add comfort and easy grip, hand rails of hand-carved willow is attached to the flyer. Copper ferrules between the body of the sled and the rails add to the rustic look, while adding substantial strength.
