Love this monitor....I have twins and one of the cameras has to be further away from one of the cribs due to plug location and the zoom is so much better than the old monitor we had! This monitor also has a temp reading on it which is really nice cuz our house can get really hot upstairs and really old downstairs at the same time so it's just nice to know that the girls' room temp is where it needs to be.

Very easy to set up and use. Great reception from my master bedroom on the 1st floor to the kids rooms upstairs. We got the extra camera and it's very easy to switch back and forth.

I have this wall mounted high above the pack and play in our bedroom & plan to me it into the nursery in a few weeks. Being so high makes it easy to rotate the camera around the room if needed (which can be done from the monitor- a feature I love). Also you can zoom in from the monitor- very handy.

This monitor promises to have a long range - longer than most other monitors. Well, the range was terrible and when it loses range, it makes this annoying beeping sound. The first night we had it, just down the hallway, the monitor lost range at least 20 times, and beeped all night. Also, it cracked on the top, moments after we got it. Not worth the price. We promptly returned it.

I got this monitor after my 2 year old had a seizure in her sleep. I honestly don't know how we managed without it. We had a simple audio monitor before. This monitor is just awesome. You can scan anywhere in the room and the picture is spotless. The audio is great, no static, no problems with anything. We have had it a year and just had our first problem: it was not registering that it was plugged in so it wasn't charging. I called motorolla and they are sending me a new one, and they are even overnighting it me because I explained that my daughter has seizures and this monitor is paramount to her safety. I couldn't be more pleased..with everything.

I love this monitor! My Summer Infant monitor worked good but after two years died on me so I ordered the Summer Touch Screen Monitor and the static noise was horrible even on the lowest volume setting. I exchanged it for the Motorola and I love it! There is no static at all and it is very easy to use. Our old monitor did not have the 2 way talk and that is a nice feature. Overall best monitor I have ever had!

We upgraded from an audio only monitor and it is so nice to be able to see what our 1yr old is doing before we go in. Often we can tell from the monitor that even though she is fussing, she is in the process of snuggling up and will be able to get herself back to sleep without us having to go in. Then we can go back to sleep easier ourselves when we see that she is sleeping peacefully again, instead of laying there wide awake waiting for another screech. Sound levels are great, you can turn it up high during the day, and put it on low at night so that you catch every true cry, but are not jolted awake at every rustle of the sheets(as happened with out old monitor).

The picture quality is great, both day and night mode. Other reviewers have commented on the fact that the push to talk button, and the turn on picture button are right next to each other. I've never woken baby up when I have hit the wrong one, but it would be nice if the picture button were somewhere easier for sleepy fingers to find in the dark, without mashing all the other buttons in the process. That and the fact that you cannot add a second display unit into the system are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars. Since we have a 2 story house, it would be nice to be able to leave one up stairs and one down as we did with our old unit. Still, given all the benefits of the video, I'd never go back to the old audio only.

When I first received the monitor I loved it. After using it for 2 months the sound would not work. I spoke to Motorola and they are short handed and it will take over a month to get a new monitor. I would not recommend this monitor!

Service and delivery comments:

The customer service from Motorola is horrible. I called them and it taking them over a month to get me a new monitor because they are short handed and a couple weeks behind. I paid a lot of money for this monitor and I now have to go out and buy a new one because it is taking them so long.

After much internal debate and wondering if (hoping) I could be happy with a less expensive monitor, I took the plunge and bought this one hoping that it would be worth its fairly high price tag--and I'm so glad I did! This monitor is awesome and has made transitioning our newborn to her crib fast, worry free and relatively easy!

It's super easy to use right out of the package and all the features are very intuitive so there's no learning curve. The daytime color picture is great and the night vision camera is clear and doesn't give off any interruption in the room itself. Seriously no complaints about this device.

The only suggestion I would have is that it would be helpful for there to be a clock/timer function on the monitor as I often lose track of how long it's taken me to put the baby down or don't check to see how long she's been asleep, but it's also nice not to have something to set/reset and good to know that the device I bought will just plain work all the time. The walkie-talkie capability is great for speaking to another caregiver, though our baby is too young to really benefit from it directly.

Also, it is very sturdy as my husband dropped the camera from about 5 feet up while trying to find perfect placement and there's not a scratch on it and it still works perfectly--good to know for when our baby is more ambulatory I'm sure.

Also, we live in a fairly small home with many wireless/tech devices and have experienced no interference, even when I've got my cell phone next to the monitor, etc.

Two big thumbs up--worth the price for the peace of mind and high functionality.

Started using this about a week ago. Other than some static interference from iPads and microwaves, I love this product. Works well between floors, love the zoom, the remote adjustments to the nursery camera. So far no complaints and hoping it continues!

Many friends of mine said do not waste money on nice monitors because they ALL break. SO after going through 7 monitors in 22 months for two kids I said forget it I'm buying a nice monitor. My friends were wrong; not all monitors break! THANK THE LORD for this monitor. If I had known how much fun it would be to watch my children fall asleep and to watch them wake up in the morning, I would have purchased this monitor just on that alone. The Motorola signal is fantastic--- my house is a tough one and it works everywhere with a very clear sound and picture. It allows up to six cameras to hook up to it so you can put one in playrooms or other rooms of the house. The hardest part of the video option is figuring out where to put or affix the camera in the rooms (but this is true of all video monitors). Its a bit clumbsy to figure out at first but once you get it its not any more difficult than anything else. You hit the "OK" button to switch between camera shots or hit scan to have an alternating view. This is not that much money when you are saved from buying way too many crummy monitors, are able to see your kids (keeping you from going in there a million times) and there in no weird rattly noise or anything to deal with on the parent unit.
