My son loves being read to & this book has been a staple since he was born. Very quick & easy to read (fun with voices) and the colors used are eye catching for little ones.

Our baby boy has always loved this book so I got this as a gift not realizing it is a larger format that the one we have. I'll give it to my friend with twins so they can both read it, but I like the smaller version better so my baby can carry it around all by himself.

I just recently bought this book for my 9 month old and he absolutely LOVES it!!! he laughs and squeals with delight as I make the animal sounds and gets so excited when we sit down to read this book. Its very simple and cute. I didnt give it 5 starts because I had hoped it was a little longer, but other than that we love it!

Such a great little book! If you are going to read a book over and over, pick one that you enjoy as well. My daughter giggles every time I start the rhyme from the book. She loves the cute animals and wants to imitate their sounds, which is also a learning opportunity for us the parents.

My son has been drawn to this book since he was born. For the first few months he seemed interested in the colorful pages. He's now 9 months and when I read to him I make each of the animal noises. He gets a kick out of it and especially laughs at the sheep and pig sounds I make. A fun book for babies!

My dear friend, and midwife, gave me this book as a shower present. It's GREAT! My son is 19 mos. old now and it's still a favorite. Sandra Boynton is genius, her books are fun to read, the illustrations are darling, and kids love 'em! If you're unsure about whether to buy this, or any Boynton book for that matter, ponder no longer. This is a great one that you and your kids will enjoy for a long long time.

this is a fun book to read. I first bought this book when my little girl was 3mo old. She and I both enjoy reading it still and she is now 13mo old.
