It worked OK for 3 months. Now that we can no longer return it, the image completely gave out. Transimission quality is terrible. We now have to go out and buy a new moniter and our baby is only 5 months old.

We've been using this monitor since the birth of our now 2-year-old son. We use it primarily while he's asleep and we are still awake (downstairs, outside, etc.), but we never kept on all night or anything. I would say on average, we use it once or twice a week for a few hours at each time.

The picture quality is perfectly adequate for both day and night - we can certainly see if he tossing and turning, standing up, or climbing out of his crib. The range is fine as well; we've tested it out by taking it outside to the far edge of our property line and even to the next door neighbors', and the signal reached.

The only complaint we have it the poor battery life; it does burn through AAs really quickly. This may be a deciding factor for someone who is using the system all the time, but for our occasional use we can live with replacing the batteries now and then. One other trick we learned to extend the battery life is to leave the audio portion only on and then just occasionally switch on the video when we want to check on him or hear something.

The whole thing worked pretty well at first, but after a few months, the screen would just go black in the middle of the night and all of the sound would disappear. Then after about a year, the volume wheel shorted out and now we have a to fidget with it to get the volume to work. Even when we get it to work, sometimes it just stops working in the middle of the night. Not all that reliable / long-lasting, but worked great when he was tiny to see in the nursery. Good transitionary monitor from in-room sleeping to crib sleeping.

wow, I thought the first one was defective but in fact, the brand new replacement is terrible as well. Poor range, lots of static and the audio range is than a [$] device. I'm shocked how poorly this device works.

This product had terrible static/interference at even the first use. We removed any items nearby that might cause interference, to no avail. We followed all the troubleshooting suggestions from the manual, with no effect. Just putting a hand near or walking by the monitor caused a loud wail of static. After about a month of use (and putting up with all the noise) the product stopped working entirely. It is going straight back to diapers.com. Do not be fooled by the low price. This is a piece of junk.

Monitor has tremendous interference and static despite trying it on different locations within the house. Static is so loud you can't hear the baby. Screen is so small that you don't see a clear picture unless it is tilted. Camera does not unjust to low enough angle. I bought this based on high ratings but is a total disappointment. Maybe we have too many wireless signals from internet and cell phones but this monitor was not worth the money spent.

I watch the baby when i go out of the room and put infront of infant car set so i can see baby in back seat when driving. great that is is small and good mobility for differnet lacations. Battery life is short need to purchase rechareable batteries.

I purchases this monitor so I could hear and watch my daughter because she had acid reflux and would start choking in her sleep. She was a month old when i picked out this monitor for the price. It worked wonderfully for the first two months than it started to eat through batteries. Then the static started and then it started to just cut out. The one day I just happen to hear my daughter choking with my own ears. I looked at the receiver that was on my side plugged into the wall and it had decided to die. My daughter could have died if I hadn't heard her. I called up the manufacturer and they stated that I had owned it for too long and they would not refund or replace it. I had only owned it for 5 months.

I posted this on [...], but also wanted to post it here. I feel that of all the baby products I've purchased, this product has been the biggest waste of money and most disappointing. Both the camera and the receiver are very bulky, but the biggest downside of this monitor is that the receiver does not have a rechargable battery. We haven't used ours since the batteries ran out. Of course it will work plugged into the wall and when in use the picture is pretty clear. One reviewer mentions night vision, but ours does not show a clear image in a dark or even dimly lit room. I am looking for a night vision feature in my next monitor. We also had a difficult time figuring out how to mount this on the wall at the foot of the crib. (Probably works alright if you can put this on a tall dresser on the other side of the room?)This was a learning experience for me in what we really need in a monitor: rechargable battery, acceptable wall mount angle, and night vision.

Horrendous product - tons of interference. We decided that we'd had enough of it and contacted the manufacturer - they offered to send us another one [...].the new one is even worse. I'm giving up on this manufacturer - and you should too. The interference wakes us up at night.PS - I tried to give it no stars, but it wouldn't let me

I bought this product for my infant and toddlers rooms at night and during the date. Terriable reception, really loud and lots of static. Also after having them for a couple months the cord started to short out which made the monitor cut our and to use it we had to wiggle the cord to get it to stay on. Very frustrating! It was cheap and as you know you get what you pay for. I now have to buy new ones after 9months of use.
