I loved this lovie as soon as I saw it. It's cute, very soft and organic. My daughter loves it too and cuddles with it every night. However, the color lost at least half its intensity after the first wash (I hand washed it with a mild eco detergent). After only three washes, it has completely faded and is now beige. I don't understand why Miyim makes such poor dyes for a toy that is meant to be chewed on and played with and therefore needs a lot of washing.

My daughter loves this lovie! LOVES it. It goes everywhere with her. I like that it's small and pretty easy to clean. I don't like that it faded. A lot. We bought the original in May of 2011. I decided to buy a new one for back up and didn't realize until we received the new one just how much the old one faded. That's the only con I have with this lovie. If you buy it; I would suggest to be ready to replace it in 6 months to a year.

My daughter has had the "giraffe" of this line since she was born. I kept it by her when nursing her and it's with her in the car seat for comfort.

Now she's older she "chews" on the knots. She has snotted on it, chewed it has washed well [many washes] and is holding up great and looks new 6 months later.
