My baby puts everything in her mouth and I noticed within 24hours of opening "Melissa and Dougs" toys they are made extremely cheaply. I noticed paint chips on my babies lips and you can also feel fine slivers on their toys. I would never recommend "Melissa and Dougs" toys to any baby or toddler.

These blocks were exactly what I had been looking for. We had looked at all the major retailers and were unable to find the small wood blocks.

Blocks are much smaller than I thought they would be and are very soft to the point where my son is biting off pieces of wood.

The pictures on the blocks do not correspond to the letters on the block. Plus, some of the graphics are rubbed off or were printed poorly. I'm sure there are better quality blocks out there that are not made in China...you get what you pay for!

I got this for my nephew; his parents were looking everywhere for these "oldie but goodie" toy blocks. They are JUST wooden blocks with letters and numbers in primary colors with some corresponding pictures. THEY ARE FANTASTIC. They are small, like 1.5" x 1.5" so they would pose a choking hazard for wee ones (under 18 months) but these are a great toy. They are finished,unlike the other reviewer said. NO SPLINTERS, they are painted and seem safe for me, and I have a few kiddos myself.

returning. see,s poorly made. paint job does not look like it will last. seems like u can get splinters bc wood is not smooth.
