Gift for christmas. Our 9 month old loves that he can easily grasp the wooden handles on each and every piece in this set. Simple, colorful design makes for a full-proof toy!
One thing I will be watching out for is when he will start to throw his toys, these wooden toys kinda spell disaster for fragile household objects. But, preventable if this toy is stored in his bedroom only, not in a living room ect. environment. ENjoy!

I know the age on this says 3+ but my little one is 18 months and LOVES his tool kit. He would walk around our house trying to hammer things with the remote control and unscrew things with his fingers. He spends most of his time with one of the tools in hand and loves to pound the "nails" into the holes in the tool box. He still struggles a little with the screws but will soon have the hang of it.

My son is younger just 1.5 years old and loves it. He can't use the screwdriver and wrench yet but soon will be able to. He loves to have tools like his dad.

this is GREAT! Got it for my daughter even though she's much younger than the recommended age (she's 22 months). We've been doing a lot of work around the house & she's always asking to hold the tools. This is just perfect. She plays with it indepdently for long periods, and although some of the fine motor stuff is too hard for her now, it doesn't get in her way either. She'll be able to use this & grow with it for years. Excellent quality too.

They especially like the screwdriver and wrench. We have had it for 2 months and they still play with it everyday. I actually bought it to help them with their fine motor skills. My boy wants to sleep with the complete toolbox in his crib.

I bought this toy for my 3 and a half year old son and he really loves it. He will play with it for an hour at a time, which in preschooler time is like all day! The tools are easy to use, there are no sharp edges, and it seems to by made of sturdy stuff.
