I purchased this for my 17-month old and she loves it. The only thing I did not like was that the pegs are kind of small for her fingers but she makes do. She's even getting in the habit of annoucing the letters when she picks them up! Great learning tool!

This is the 3rd alphabet puzzle I've purchased for my 17 month old daughter and one of many that I've looked at. I think it's the BEST. I love the creative and colorful pictures behind each letter. The only con is that the shapes of each letter are a little obscure (not necessarily the shape of the letter) so it's difficult for a young learner to figure out where to put each letter. Still, I highly recommend this puzzle.

I bought this for my 3 year old who loves puzzles and I thought it would help him with his ABC's, but I was wrong! Since it's handmade the pieces are really difficult to get them in their spot, you have to do it just right and that can take a while! My biggest problem with this puzzle is that the letters are not cut out into their actual shape, ie the E and N are both just cut into a rectangle, also the H and M are squares..really confusing for my son trying to put them in their correct places. Overall this is an extremely frustrating puzzle!

My child loves identifying the letters. We take turns naming the letters and selecting a piece to place in the puzzle. My child is able to name many of the pictures, and we use the letters to spell the words (when possible.) I appreciate the fact that many of the pictures are common items and words that can be easily spelled (3-5 letters; no repeating letters.) The only complaint I could have would be the size of the pieces. My child never attempts to put the See-Inside Numbers into the mouth, but the alphabet pieces are significantly smaller and perhaps more tempting to chew.
