This is to finally find a place to put all my Melissa & Doug puzzles. Sadly it didn't work as well as I had hoped, especially for some that have varying depths, like one that has locks, which happens to be Melissa & Doug, so one would have thought.... The puzzle won't slip in at all. So while I thought it was a solution to have all my puzzles in one place, it actually isn't because it doesn't offer varying widths on the rack.

I no longer have puzzle pieces everywhere. I love that it helps keep us organized.

The rack works for what it is meant for but the rack does not have protective covers on the feet and scratches our hardwood floors. Wish each rack held both sizes of puzzles. I have more small puzzles than it is meant for. They all go in the rack but easily slips down to the next level. I'd recommend it if you understand its limitations.

The puzzle rack only holds 6 small Melissa and Doug sized puzzles and 6 average large size puzzles. I have a few puzzles that won't fit on the shelves and the puzzles are: Latches board, Two Alphabets are better than one and Jumbo Knobs with chunky pieces farm animals. I thought the knob one would work since the shapes puzzle can be seen from the picture. The knob position on the puzzle is the reason for why one puzzle fits and the other doesn't. The Shapes puzzles are closer to the center of the board where the Farm animals go closer to the edge. The latch puzzle doesn't fit for the same reason of having one of the latches too close to the edge. The two alphabets are better than one is an extra large Melissa and Doug puzzle and that is why that one won't work. All the other normal sized large and small puzzles fit nicely. Even non Melissa and Doug puzzles will work if they are similar in length. Works great to stack my 11 puzzles that I own!
