Plan for a least two hours to put this together, the instructions were pretty clear, but just a lot of parts/screws. Well worth it, but not how I planned on spending from 9:30-11:30 p.m on Christmas Eve....

Not hard to assemble, but takes a lot of time. The instructions are excellent and none of the steps are hard but there are 220 pieces including hardware. Do not attempt on Christmas Eve or when any of the youngsters are around. The result is a very cute toy. Also, I recommend adding a lock washer to the bolts attaching the faucet valve handles to keep them from unscrewing as the handles are turned. You will need a short thin flat screw driver to align part 6 nuts to the screws.

Comments about Cook's Corner Wooden Kitchen:

We got this for our now 2 year old twin boys for Christmas. Both boys were very interested in our kitchen so we thought this would be the perfect gift & it was a hit, even beat out Dance Star Mickey! Our boys have fun "tasting" their creations & it is really the only time they share & both can play without being on top of each other. Our son has PDD & this has helped him socialize better & share & focus on something for a long period of time. Loved the color/style so it is very gender neutral looking. Was a bit of a pain to put together & our oven door doesn't stay closed, but it isn't too bothersome. Overall this is the best kitchen for the money.

Comments about Cook's Corner Wooden Kitchen:

If I had to rate this based on assembly...1 star! This was the most ridiculous assembly i have experienced yet! It is tedious and very time consuming. No Joke..3-4 hours! And its not that big. Most of the things req'd to assemble should have been pre-done. Otherwise, I was looking for a small kitchen that was simple enough to build on. This fit the bill perfectly. Love the colors because it was for my son. Perfect for what I was looking for because I know all kids grow out of things quick.

This kitchen is just adorable. I couldn't wait until my son was old enough for his first kitchen. When he was super interested in the kitchen at his play group, I decided it was time. I am so happy with this purchase. He loves it. It is colorful and has lots of room for storing the fun Melissa and Doug Wooden foods. It will provide us hours and hours of fun! It does take some time to put together. But the instructions are much better than most and easy to read. LOVE IT!!!

This kitchen is great! We bought it for our two year old for her second birthday and she LOVES it! The features are great and I am really happy with the quality and appearance of it. I considered getting a different brand that had an upper panel of "cabinetry" but decided to give this one a try instead and I am very happy with it. It has plenty of nice features plus it will be easy to move around from room to room if we so choose. It did take my husband over 3 hours to put together but it was worth it.
