Perfect for my cruising child! Purchased this to help my son with walking. After a few days of using it he started standing on his own. Well-made and attractive. Noise level is mellow compared to other walker contraptions.

Bought this walker after seeing so many positive and glowing reviews on[@]. However, like what the other reviewer on Yoyo.com experienced, one of the alligator stopped chomping after a couple of days. To Yoyo.com's credit, they shipped us a replacement unit without waiting for us to ship back the original one. The replacement unit unfortunately didn't fair much better. After 4 days two of the alligators stopped chomping. This time we decided not to bother sending it back for another replacement. Instead we opened it up and found out that the plastic pieces, which when rotated cause the alligators to chomp and clack, had already fallen off. These plastic pieces were affixed to the wooden axle with some glue that apparently did not last as intended. One has to wonder if quality control has gone out the door or if they changed and botched the internal design of this walker.Very disappointed.This is our first Melissa & Doug purchase. It will also be our last.

My baby is trying to use it to help with walking. However, the alligators chomped for 1 day with the first one. We sent it back, and the second one doesn't chomp either. Frustrating. Assembly is easy as it takes 2 screws and that's it. It's cute, but cute does not mean effective.

My ten month old loves this toy. It's very sturdy and the clacking is not annoying. This is the best walker push toy that I've come across.

I searched several walkers and chose this one because I specifically wanted wood and it got great reviews. It has solid construction and was a cute concept but it moves way too fast for my soon too keep up with so he falls when pushing it. He just turned 1 and is just learning to walk so he still needs support. I would only recommend this for a child that can already walk on their own.

Internal parts came loose after two uses. Had to take apart and repair. Other than that, we are satisfied as all external parts are wood and not plastic.

We got this for our daughter at 8 months and she instantly loved it. She wasn't walking but she would play with the wooden butterflies under the handle and check everything out. When she started cruising she would crawl over to this toy, pull herself up and cruise around with it. The thing I love most about this toy, other than how cute it is, is that she was always able to keep up with it and I felt safe that she wasn't going to tip it over or fall. The toy doesn't take off like some other walkers do - there is definite control, which is nice. Other walkers we have will go too quickly for her and she will lose her footing. Also, it doesn't seem to tip over easily if she pulls herself up by grabbing the handle. Some might find this toy to be a little noisy but honestly it never bothered us - it's not obnoxious at all. I highly recommend this toy! I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

We bought this for our daughter's first birthday. She can stand, but not walk on her own so it is perfect. She can walk & push it, and when she's tired she sits down & plays with the beads. It seems durable and we love that it is wooden and has non-toxic paint. This toy is destined to be around a long time.

I gave this to my 6 month old niece for Christmas. It was a hit with her- even though she wasn't walking she still loved interacting with it. The 1 year olds AND 3 year olds at our Christmas were all loving it as well. Made me wish I would've gotten for my kiddos three years ago!

I got this walker in order to help my 13 month old learn how to walk without holding on to a stationary object. He was immediately engaged by the bright colors and spinning toys attached and loves to wheel it around the house and outdoors. My only two gripes are that 1)it does not turn at all, which can be a good thing for beginners but i notice my son getting frustrated when he wheels it right into a wall or any other object and can't turn it around himself, and 2)there is no speed control so I have to watch him when outside on concrete so as not to fall forward on his face as he pushes it faster. Overall it's a cute well-made first walker and something that I will keep and use with the next baby!

It seems kind of pricey but we bought it & our son loves it!! He's been using it since 7 months; he's a year now & still loves to haul around pushing it. Sturdy & a good height.

This is the best walker I've seen! The wheels have rubber on them so it doesn't slip on my wood floor like the plastic walkers do.

My daughter, now eight months was cruising at six months and she LOVES this walker. Although she uses it to get to places she would otherwise not have access to, it's a small price to pay to see her so independent already. May possibly be too short for a taller than average baby, but it is perfect for my average height eight month old. Great on rugs and floors alike, not too fast. the alligators make a delightful sound that I have not tired of!

I bought this for my 9 month old and she loves it. The first two days she just played with the beads on it. The third day she took me by surprise and got up and started pushing it all over the house. Now she can not only cruise on the gates and furniture, but walk throughout the house.
The wheels have rubber on them providing some traction. Babies can see their feet, which is supposed to be good for development.
My only gripe is that it came chipped and I see it chips easily. Also, I don't know how how fast my baby will outgrow it due to the push bar being lower down.
