I am a stay at home mommy and this is a good manual pump. I initially tried the ameda and I didn't like the method used to remove milk as my hand became exhausted before milk even came out! I have better results with this manual pump than my double electric pump at times. I have used the medela symphony and ameda products and this is great if u don't need to pump often and if u r on the go and fonna be away from your baby for a while. It's light weight and easy to travel with. Good at extracting milk and ther are not a lot of parts. Pretty straight forward, I would highly recommend this product to the momma who does not pump frequently but may spend some long times away from the little one.The last perk is u don't need electricity! Sometimes an electrical outlet is not available so this pump does the trick!

I used to have hospital grade breast pump which work great but noisy and impossible to carry with, this hand pump is so good, works like the hospital grade one but much quicker and noiseless. it takes only 3-4 minutes to pump a 5 oz (full bottle) of breast milk and it does not hurt at all. but i only recommend for the moms whose milk supply is established already .

This is a great manual pump (better than an electric pump i own). I had to travel without my baby and wanted to make sure that my supply does not get affected. I carried the Harmony Breastpump from Medela and used it 4 times a day. This is a great pump. It pumped quite efficiently. It does get a bit tiring on the hand but its faster than the Ameda manual pump that I have used before.

By far the best pump I've owned. I recently delivered my 3rd child and experienced cracked/bleeding nipples due to poor latching on. The last two pumps (manual and electric) I purchased with my other 2 children were difficult to use and really didn't do a good job so I purchased the Medela Harmony one to try it out. Within a couple of days of using this device along with Medela lanolin without nursing, the nipples healed and the baby has learned to latch on with no problem. I continue to pump a few bottles between feedings so that others can help me at night or when I need to be away from the baby. It is quick and efficient, painless and easy to use. Few parts to clean and easy to disassemble/assemble. I won't be switching brands.

I'm getting ready to have my second child and with my first I knew nothing about breastfeeding or pumps. I was terrified! I went to a lactition specialist because I was having some issues, and was worried that my milk was not coming in fast enough. I was overwhelmed by the pumps she showed me and explained that I wanted something quick and easy to use anywhere and everywhere. She grabbed this one and smiled saying this would be my my best friend. And it was! I never looked for another pump, it helped my milk come in quickly and everytime I had to pump for work or anything, it was really quick and extremely comfortable. Now with my second child this is the only pump I am interestead in because it works!

I have 5 children ranging from newborn to age 9. I have bought so many pumps over the years and this is by far the best. It's simple, portable, comfortable, and rather quick. I have 2, $300 electric pumps, and haven't used them at all since I found this one. Just yesterday I was bringing 3 kids in to the doctor for check ups. I spent 5 min pumping in the parking lot and wha-la, no need to nurse in front of everyone in the facility. I carry it in my diaper bag. Quick and easy and exceptionally priced! I have purchased other non-electric pumps before but nothing compares to the Medela line. Trust me, I've spent 4 1/2 years of my life breastfeeding - this is a good investment.
