I've been using this seat rear facing interchangeably for my 8mos and my 2yo, and I've even comfortably used it for my 49" tall 5yo. I love the no thread harness. It fits great in my '12 Honda Odyssey without taking up too much room while rear-facing. The downside is that I can not put it in the middle seat in the middle row of the Odyssey for two reasons. First, the latch connectors do not fit in the LATCH hooks/bars. Second, when I use the seatbelt which comes down from the ceiling, the width of the seat pushes the belt into the path of the outboard seat next to it making it immoveable.
Those are my only issues with the seat.

Car seat fits in the small backseat of my 06 subaru forester nice and snug without having to move driver seat up which was a main concern when researching convertible car seats. I love the color and material feels good. The adjustable headrest is perfect for my 11 month 22lb daughter. I cannot comment on the tiny fit other than it was easy to remove. Instructions are on the side of the car seat for FF or RF and takes a little know how but once you figure it out it's a breeze. My husband doesn't like the side "air" protection because he thinks it looks like blinders on a horse and our daughter can't see out very well but if it's added protection and saves lives there is no problem. I thought it would be bulky and heavy but in comparison to her infant seat it wasn't at all either. I think of it as sturdy and well made:)
