Comments about Crayola Make-A-Plate Kit:
We, my kids, and family/friends love these!Child's class did them once and we stole the idea for a small birthday party at home-everyone made one, dated them, and shipped them together/distributed later. Fun! Our kits gave one additional plate free if you order 3 or more plates. I originally thought I had to have one kit/plate/design, but you can order up to 5 different designed plates and/or multiple plates/quantities of each plate design in the order. Shipping was $3 each in our kits, but might be an older version as we held onto them for a year - they accepted the printed amounts/my payment. Every time we've ordered these we got faster return service than they claim. Plates always came out excellent. Kids were thrilled with them - keep asking to make more! Follow instructions about type of markers you can use-you can use other colors/thicknesses than the ones provided-we used Crayola Super Tips Washable for bigger variety of colors; what might get cut off the edge (like do color to the edge, but in a way that if some of it gets cut off, it's not something significant in the design you would notice/miss if it got cut off or make your edge wide enough so if some gets cut off that there's still some on the final output's edge) and you will be pleased with results. Scan your completed design before sending in if possible, so you have something to copy if a replacement is needed, as the plates may break at times if you drop them and even tho they can make a replacement from your order or certificate #, they won't keep that record forever.
