This may be a great pajamas for a younger baby that does not move a lot while sleeping but is not good for my son. It comes undone constantly and he basically is sleeping with his leg and belly open. Used it just 2times and now is in storage. Too bad because I love the quality and the design

This review is for gowns purchased mid-2012. We bought a couple of the Magnificent Baby gowns prior to our twins' birth followed by a number more after the first month as we were quite pleased. When the babies came home the gowns were their piece de resistance on top of a newborn t-shirt and, later on, a onesie. The gowns are one size only; they were large on premature newborns, we rolled up the sleeves and used the gowns with the babies swaddled (we would swaddle anyway). Through 5 months of almost daily use they were easy to put on and take off, the material aged gracefully, and construction remained solid after around 100 washes/drying.

Downside: the magnets stuck to our dryer drum. Often the gowns needed some extra time after balling up into a nest of magnets and cloth. Washing and drying the gowns with the magnets closed helps but does not fully fix the situation if the drum material is magnetic.

So upset, as is so cute! But I bought this in the 6-9, and then 9-12 and had to return as both times they were just too small!

Length was fine but the amount of room for arms and legs was so tight, and my 6 month old is average for her weight at 16 lbs so not sure how a chubbier baby would get on

I don't know what people are complaining about. I try to use this footie as much as possible and I never have any trouble with it! In fact it my go to footie!

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about becaus the gown doesn't have pants??? I love it...super easy to get on an off and if something does come open (which doesn't really happen), its suuuuper easy to get back on - its a magnet after all!

The magnetic closures are a great idea but the bottom portion keeps coming undone. I have to take the pants off and redo the bottom several times a day, outside of diaper changes. I also wonder when my little one will learn that she can pull her pyjamas off herself! Disappointed it didn't work since it's a time-saving idea...especially with twins!
