We got this at doctors appointment for being good during a check up. My son loves it and I have even memorized it - it is so rhythmical! It is my 10 year olds favorite pick to read to her brother at bed time.

I can see the authors intent to reinforce attachment to mother, but unfortunately the images of the baby llama calling for its mama caused my 2 year old daughter to wake up at 2am and call paniced for mama. She became overly sympathetic for the baby llama. Good news is as soon as we took the book out of the rotation the nightmares stopped.

My twin toddlers adore this book...and so do my second grade students! This was the first one that we owned in the series and it sucked us right in. We read the Llama Llama books multiple times a day (pages have been ripped and a taped back together) and it somehow does not get old. Dewdney has a great way with words and concepts that are easy for all ages to understand. We hope that she continues to add to the Llama Llama series.

My daughter and I love these Llama Llama books. They are easy to relate to and deal with situations that my daughter and I have gone through together.

For toddlers you cannot go wrong with any of the Anna Dewdney books. They are all cute with great messages to the little ones and really hold their interest with the rhyming and sing-songy text. They are easy to read and my 2-yr-old loves all of them. He even has a Llama Llama doll that he loves to nap with. : )

My nephews loved this book when they were little and they gave it to my son when he was born. He is now 3 months old and giggles and coos all the way through "llama llama" ... It's the only book that we've read to him so far that he participates in!

I have two kids, My son is 6 now and this was his favorite bedtime story; and after i had my daughter he would read it to her every night. and now she won't go to bed without us reading it. i know it by heart now.. I love it!

We read "Llama, Llama" every day. Both the writing and illustrations are fantastic, and the book is easy and fun to read. "Llama, Llama" is an instant classic.

We LOVE the Llama Llama books! They are super cute and teach valuable lessons like patience. My toddler loves the sing-songy text and illustrations. They are funny and cute and worth every cent. I recommend all the Llama Llama books. I only wish it came in a board book so that they would last longer!

This is the only book that my daughter will sit still for from the beginning to end. I think she loves the rhymes and the pictures.Great book!

My sister gave this book to my daughter and my niece and nephew. All of the kids love it and they range in age from 18 months to 5 years. Plus now when they get upset, they think it's funny to say "please stop all this llama drama"!

Our 2.5 year old daughter absolutely loves this book (and Ana Dewdney's other llama books). The pictures are adorable and the story is made up of simple rhymes with a sweet message.
