When my baby had a major diaper rash, I bought Balmax, Desitin, and Little Twig (the first two were recommended by my mother and my pediatrician) and I alternated between them to compare. Little Twig was far and away the best, and this is why: Desitin is super-intense and will last as a barrier until the next diaper change. However, it doesn't come off easily. If you want to wipe it off when you change the diaper, you have to wipe hard. =( And that's the last thing you want to do when your baby has a rash! Balmax is much more gentle, however, it's so gentle that it absorbs by the next change. So, you take the diaper off and ...where'd the Balmax go? This is a problem because you want that barrier to stay around long enough to protect the skin. Enter Little Twig. When you change the next diaper, it will still be there. But it wipes off easily and gently. I alternated back and forth between these, and I only noticed a significant improvement in the rash when using Little Twig. I've been using this exclusively for a year now.
In response to those who say it's clumpy: that is true! But that's because it's so concentrated it's practically solid in the container. But, those clumps smooth out very easily and you can spread them right on. It's not sandy or gritty. There's nothing irritating. It's just a very very thick cream, that actually spreads easily.
To those who say it's super expensive per volume. Also true! It comes in a tiny little package. But that little package can last a month, easily! Again, it's so concentrated that a pea-sized amount can cover a whole bum.
It's the best out there, and I wish Diapers.com would stock more of it because they always seem to run out!

My daughter is highly sensitive and had a really bad diaper rash. It was so bad that she looked like she had Chiken Pox on her bottom. I tried every kind of diaper cream and everything irritated it more and made it worse! I used this and it is amazing takes any and everykind of rash away and my babies don't cry when I put it on there bottom!! Love love love it!

I have been using this cream since my daughter was born. She is 15 months and still on the same jar. My other children had horrible diaper rash all the time and I haven't had any trouble with this child, pairing the cream w/ Earths Best diapers instead of store brands. I only use the cream when her tushy starts to get a little red and after 1 or 2 applications it is usually gone. I am chemically hypersensitive and this doesn't bother my skin either. I have actually put it on some of my rashes and healed them with it. I know some people complained about price and size of the jar but, you get what you pay for an excellent product. It is also nice to not have to use it with every diaper so I can allow my daughters skin to breath. Buy it, it is so worth it!

I started using this cream 10months ago and I'm just about to run out. I like it and I think it works well for my baby's tush. No bad reaction since using this. I read the good reviews and I thought I'll try it and good thing I did. It may be abit pricy compared to otc Desitin cream that you can buy a big jar for lesser price but I like this cream because it is unscented and I don't need to apply too much. A small smear does the work. Clears out any rash immediately.

We loved Burt's Bees Diaper Cream, but with the recent change in formulation and the new, difficult larger tube, I decided to seek out other options. This appealed to me because it was organic. I am pretty indifferent to this product. It didn't seem to be a miracle cream (for us) but it wasn't bad either. Probably the classic case of "some things work better for certain babies than others". I salute this company for using natural ingredients, though I won't be purchasing it again. It is unappealing that you have to mix it up yourself and you don't get very much either. Glad it has helped others - as for us - we're still in search of something like the old Burt's Bees formula.

My son had a minor diaper rash initially. I used Desitin for a while and after a while it was getting worse. I am starting to become more aware of the products used and found this by browsing online. It worked FAST! Within two days my sons minor rash was gone! I will only recommend this product to friends and also give as baby shower gifts. Must have! It's more natural and ingredients I can understand. Best of all it does not leave that awful chemical/baby powder smell on your hands!

When my baby got a horrible diaper rash with open sores, I was desperate to find something to heal her bottom. She was in agony! After trying all of the big brands, even all natural products, I purchased this based on the reviews. It was the ONLY thing that helped my baby's bottom. This stuff is VERY thick and you need to actually break it up and stir it with your finger to soften it up into a nice cream. But, once you do, it creates a solid, lasting barrier that will allow your baby's bottom to heal. In 24 hours, my baby was so much better. I loved that when I would go to change her diaper, the cream was still there and protecting her skin. It is awesome and worth every penny!

This product is wonderful -- just too little of it in the jar! Especially as a mother of triplets. It has ruined me for any other diaper creams -- including the all natural ones. It clears up diaper rash right away and smells wonderful too.

This stuff has literally ruined all of our other products for us. It is nice and thick and stays on all night. If the twins (12 mo.) have even a bit of Rash 1 night of this cream and it's gone. Even a more serious Rash (of course just shy of a Doctors visit) it still works...so well!! It needs to come in a bigger size, MUCH as well as this "dinky sort-of travel" size!! I apply it at any sign of redness. I wish I could put on a little more but, because of the expense I have to be more sparing. Anyway... WE LOVE IT!!

I just had my third child and wish I had found this product before. It works like a miracle. My son developed a bad diaper rash. Nothing helped until I started using this cream after washing his buttom in warm water. Wow! Thank you!

Hands down the best diaper cream out there. I rub it on at the slightest sign of diaper rash and at the next diaper change the rash is completely gone! I have more than half of my first container left and my baby is 6 months old - it works so great you don't have to use it very often. If you want the best, get this one.

Great product. It lasts a long time. I like this much better than Desitin or Balmax. Those always leave your fingers smelling like chemicals. This stuff is very mild and creamy, not pasty like the other ones. We use it often, mainly before bed, since our little one could be in a wet diaper all night!
