Comments about Little Green Pouch - 4 Pk:

Our little one went on a feeding strike, only wanting to feed herself at 13mo. We were left with a freezer full of pureed food, and these came to our rescue! Our little one has adored feeding herself with these, and she learned how to use them within a day. These can be sucked empty, rather than squeezed to get food (though they are large [8oz], so you still have to help a little one move the food up the pouch when only filling 1/4 to 1/2 full). This makes mealtime much cleaner, and we don't have to monitor her every minute. Propped open between several upper rack spokes of the dishwasher, they clean well (we mostly handwash with a bottle brush, then sterilize 1-2 times a week through the dishwasher); regular store-bought pouch covers fit the spout (nice!); and they will sit semi-open to fit a spoon for filling (fantastic!). This is one high-quality product; we have been very impressed. We just wish the price were a bit lower, so we could afford to stock up - we suspect we will use these for smoothie and applesauce snacks through the toddler years.

Comments about Little Green Pouch - 4 Pk:

I purchased these because my 13 month old son loves eating out of the store bought pouches and I was hoping I could make my own smoothies, applesauce, yogurt etc. for him that he could feed himself without the mess of a spoon. He has not had a problem spilling the store bought pouches ever but with these spills were the norm. It is because the spout is on the side and this was fear when i purchased them - however they were highly rated so I gave them a try. I am sure for older children that get the concept of tiping things this product may work out better, but I am still in search for a pouch with a top spout that doesnt fill from the bottom.

I make smoothies for my daughter and she loves the pouches we buy at the store so I got these to try out. She loves them. They are easy to use, easy to clean and are reusable so I'm not throwing away all the empty pouches. I will say it's MUCH easier to fill if you have a funnel than when using a spoon.

When I washed one of my pouches, the zipper let go from the side, so I contacted the company. They got back to me personally within an hour and went above and beyond what they needed to do to back their product.

Not only is the Green Pouch great because you can feed baby your own homemade foods on the go and conveniently, the zipper is on the top, so no blow outs, and they are a great size to fill, AND the company backs their product 110% and wants to make sure you are happy.

The only small issue is they are hard to clean in the nooks and crannies, but any pouch is going to have this issue.

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Since I make my own baby food I thought these would be perfect. Easy to fill and seal but annoying to clean. Something simple like applesauce cleans easily but add something like blueberries that have small sticky pieces of skin and you will never get these completely clean. Pouch spoons fit on them and so do caps from the disposables. I use these for some things but had to switch to disposables that I fill on my own for food that I know will be hard to clean out of these. I wouldn't buy these again. (But if you will only use reusable pouches these are nice)

My one year old is resisting being spoonfed, and I was going through way too many expensive pouches. Tried these and LOVE THEM. The zipper top makes them easy to clean, and as other reviews have said, if you lose a cap, you can use one from a store bought pouch.

I looked for something like this forever and ended up on the wait list for it while it was still being tested. Exactly as described and does a good job. My daughter has no problem with yogurt or applesauce through this and it really cuts the mess. It can be a little tricky to fill, but I don't use the recommended funnel. I just spoon or pour in. It freezes well, and survives the dishwasher. Love that it fits caps from disposable squeeze pouches too. Hasn't completely replaced the disposable ones for me though. I still keep spares of those in my diaper bag because these have to be kept cold or fresh, I always get asked where I got them!

As as mom of 2 active little boys we are always on the go. I love that these Little Green Pouches give me healthier options for snacks when we are out and about (and are good for the environment!). My boys (4 and 2) love eating out of them and haven't had any issues spilling or getting the food out. They are a little hard to get clean - I usually have to rinse them several times before I put them in the dishwasher. Food gets stuck in the bottom corners.

I like the convenience of prefilled pouches, but hated throwing them away and wasn't that crazy about paying for them. Now I can make my own healthy smoothies or purees and know exactly what my 3 year old and one year old are eating. My 3 year old asks "Can I have applesauce in the pouch please?" It makes healthy eating fun for the kids, which couldn't be better. A simple bottle brush cleans them easily. Great product, would highly recommend!

I love using this pouch to let my baby eat home-made purees. I hate how expensive food pouches are, but it's hard to pass up the convience of them. My son has loved the pouches since he had his first one at around 7 months. He loves being "independent" and able to feed himself (I hold it for him). They're pretty easy to clean, although the corners are tight. I usually rinse it, run it through the dishwasher, and then rinse it again. If you use each pouch only 5 times, you've already saved money!

Comments about Little Green Pouch - 4 Pk:

Do you ever one of those mom moments where you kick yourself for not thinking of something first? Little Green Pouch is one of those for me. I had been thinking someone needed to create a reusable food pouch since my friends and I can easily go through multiple disposable food pouches in one play date. After a quick search, there was Little Green Pouch.

Reasons I love Little Green Pouch:
                - My daughter loves them. Every time she sees the bright green pouch, she squeals with excitement.
                - It saves me money
                - I don't have to feel guilty about the waste disposable pouches create
                - I know exactly what my kids are eating and can avoid the added sugar in pre-filled pouches
                - They are so cute!

I will definitely be buying more pouches for our summer vacation.

Received 4 pouches. One was defective with the sealing part separated from one side so it was impossible to seal. I used the other pouches and after the second use one of the pouches leaked all over in our lunch bag because it is separating where the seal is, just like the other pouch. Do not buy these. They obviously haven't perfected them.

A product that a mom can say yes to! A product this mom loooooooves. My kids get to bring cool snacks to school like the disposable fruit sauce ones that their friends have, but these are BPA & phthalate free AND don't go to the landfill. Oh- AND- are dishwasher safe! You can freeze the contents of the Little Green Pouch using it as the ice pack instead of the chemical laden blue packs. My two, eight and ten year old love it, but I think that I love it more. Highly recommend.

My son loves being able to feed himself the plum organic packets and I wanted to make the food so I tried these. They are a lot harder to fill, clean and use than I was looking for. He has a hard time eating from them and gets very frustrated. The hole for filling them is small which causes a mess.
They are dishwasher safe but even cleaning them first they still don't come clean from the dishwasher. So I ended up hand washing them twice. Overall they are more frustrating to use then they were worth.

Comments about Little Green Pouch - 4 Pk:

I purchased these pouches because my 17 month old was going through the store bought pouches like they were water (very expensive water!). I didn't know quite what to expect in the quality but I was so excited when they arrived - the plastic is really strong and after many uses (trips to the park and rides through the dishwasher on sterilize mode) its not looking worn at all.
They arrive completely flat so after doing a little research online I read that you were supposed to blow into the spout to expand them (definitely do this first - it makes filling them so much easier!).
Since my son loves yogurt I decided to just put yogurt in the first one and it was super easy to pour the 6oz container into the pouch. I put him in the stroller for our walk to the park and handed him the pouch and waited... within seconds he was sucking down the pouch and half way to the park he finished with the yogurt. When I got home I rinsed the pouch and put it in the dishwasher and it was completely clean when the cycle was done. Since then I have put smoothies, applesauce and a lot more yogurt in them. And I almost always sneak in some spinach and he never knows better. I'M SERIOUSLY IN LOVE.

Some tips that I've found helpful:

                      * Blow into pouch the first time you use them to completely expand
                      * Make sure your purees are at least as thick as the store bought ones so they don't spill out when your little one sets it on its side or tips it over
                      * Rinse soon after you use and you don't have to scrub
                      * When your puree has spinach some of the spinach gets into the corners - I use a bottle brush that has a nipple brush on the opposite end and it gets into the crevices great
                      * After hand washing or taking out of the dishwasher MAKE SURE you put upside down in a drying rack (with the pouch expanded) so it all dries out
                      * Last tip - I just realized that the caps from the store bought pouches fit on the pouches so if you lose your cap just save the caps from the store bought ones!
