Comments about Levana Safe and See Digital Video Baby Monitor:

This is a decent product, however the range was so limited, that we couldn't carry the handheld to all parts of the house without losing its signal. It says that the range goes up to 350 ft, but that must be without any walls/interference. It functions great as long as you're within range. What I don't like about it is that when you turn on the monitor above the crib, it beeps quite loudly and it could wake/rouse your sleeping baby. You'd just have to remember to turn it on before you put the baby down. It would also be nice if you could swivel the camera. It can only be moved up and down and not left to right.

Comments about Levana Safe and See Digital Video Baby Monitor:

We live in San Francisco and have a small place. The range says 450 feet. I'd say 45 feet, maybe. Our living room is on the other side of our (not large) kitchen from the nursery and it would work intermittently there. I slept with this on the charger next to my bed. The first night I used it, it randomly cut out in the middle of the night. By the end of the first week, the picture would freeze and so you couldn't be sure whether the baby wasn't moving or the picture was just frozen. Even when it was working, the picture quality wasn't good enough to tell whether the baby's eyes were open or closed, which is one of the reasons why I got it.

Diapers.com was awesome about refunding me when I told them my difficulties.

Comments about Levana Safe and See Digital Video Baby Monitor:

This is probably one of the best purchases I have ever made! We debated on what monitor to buy and after much research I decided on this one since it was in the mid price range, had great features and pretty good reviews. The lullaby button is great but in a bad spot I accidentally push it sometimes carrying the monitor, but other then that I have no complaints about this product, I absolutely love it!

Comments about Levana Safe and See Digital Video Baby Monitor:

Wished we had purchased this with our first child! It would of saved me so many trips up the stairs. Our bedroom is downstairs and with our two yr old and now 3mos old's bedroom being upstairs- I really researched screen monitors.I love the quality of the picture, it has great nightvision and at night I keep it on the (VOX) feature so the screen is not on unless baby makes noise. I mostly keep it on the charging station by the bed- so battery life of 3-4 hrs. is not an issue for us and when I do carry it around the house or outside while the baby is sleeping a 3-4 hrs battery life is plenty. Used the music some but he is only 3mos so not really needed just yet. The intercom feature is cool- my husband and I have used it to communicate more with each other ie... if I need a bottle or something else from downstairs! Worth every penny to us!!

Comments about Levana Safe and See Digital Video Baby Monitor:

This is my 2nd monitor. I previously have the Levana Babyview20 which Diapers.com doesn't sell anymore. I first bought the clearvu monitor but hated it because of the static. So I return that and paid a little more for this monitor. This monitor has the same nice feature as the Babyview20 including the VOX mode which only activates the screen when (loud enough) noise is detacted. This feature is good at night when you want to sleep and is sensitive to the bright lights from the screen. It has a belt buckle stand which without the charger, the monitor is free standing also. It has the music feature which I don't really use because I have a mobile by the crib. The "talk to your baby" feature is nice but doesn't really work when you baby is crying. The battery life is not good. They say it's about 4 hours, I would say it's 3 hours tops if you have the screen on. I originally thought there was something wrong with the battery and requested another one from the manufacture [...]. But it turns out that when your monitor is on the charge station, it'll just have the LED red light indicating it's charging and it won't let you know it's fully charged (green) light. You'll know that it's fully charge when you can use it continuously for 3-4 hours until the light starts blinking (indicate a recharge is needed). Overall, the monitor has much clearer than the Babyview20 and the features are nice.
