I'm the grandma of triplets...easy to use. Was able to view w/sound, w/o sound, or just sound. Yes, there is some static but that should be expected. I don't know of too many monitors that are completely staticless. It is so much better then the monitor I used when my children were babies. I think some of the negative comments were from perfectionist. Its a good product and the fact you're able to add more then one camera is a bonus.

It has lots of static ! But I wish it was the only problem... I have to turn it off an on in order to make sure my baby is still good ! And So many times I SAW my baby was crying-didn't HEAR !!! Over all- its the worst baby monitor ever in my opinion.. STAY AWAY-SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!

We have used this for about 16 months - but hated it from the beginning. It has a lot of static - so I can't use it while I'm sleeping, we bought a basic audio monitor for that. It is very finicky - sometimes have to turn it on an off and on and off before the picture will come on. It will randomly just turn off and I didn't know and my daughter was awake. Last week, it broke and wouldn't charge and only worked on the charger - my husband is an electrical engineer and was able to take it apart, adjust some pins, and it works again - but don't feel like this should happen at all. Overall, wish we had spent more money and bought a better brand - you get what you pay for! Would not recommend!

Product does not work, only transmits audio. Video screen stays blank/white. Service call to manufacturer did not help. I am returning the product for a new one. Will update comment when new monitor arrives.

I just had my second handheld unit break. Its the silliest thing. The connection from the charger breaks - and I cant charge or get any electricity to the handheld, in essence, unuseawble. But the major thing here is the customer service. I have never experienced something so bad. It took me weeks to finally get someone on the phone, its long distance to Canada, they made me pay for a replacement. Teh only way to get it free is if I shippped bak the other one, they did testing and then they would shop me a new one. I finally paid and in all the process took me 6 weeks! This time they say I have to pay (literally two months later) because they had given me a discount on the last one so the warranty does not apply. Rediculous!

Works great, no static. I also like the idea that additional cameras can be added. I had another monitor when my other daughter was little, but it had so much static and picked up the house next door! So far I am enjoying this montior. Some reviews did not like the monitor going dark when no noise was heard -- but this can easily be turned off. Overall, excellent monitor for the price.
