I was really looking forward to giving these to my daughter. She is enamored with barnyard animals and I thought this would be a fun, yet educational toy to give her. Once I opened the package, there was an awful paint-like smell from the soft plastic animals. Also, the heads of the animals are connected to the body with a poorly done seam. In fact, the pig's head is barely on the body because the seam/seal is broken. I'm returning these, which is also a pain.

I bought this for my on his 3rd birthday (which was 3 months ago) and out of all his gifts this was he top pick which he plays with them EVERYDAY! They are perfect for any child who loves to play Dino imagination games!!

This is the first toy I have seen that my little guy will not stop playing with.
First day he carried all five through the house and wanted to have them next to him at ALL times. He also quickly named them and will happily play anywhere where he can have them with him. I have purchased a lot of toys and this one is giving the most bang for the buck. I like that these are great for imaginative play and are very well made.

I purchased the dinosaur set a while ago and I LOVE them. I even bought a set as a birthday present for another child. The dinosaurs are big, heavy, durable, and painted nicely. My 18 month old loves them. He's taken them to the park several times and played with them in the sandbox. The paint has rubbed off in a few places, but nothing major. I've even seen one of the dinosaurs in a tv commercial. Just recently I purchased the Jungle Animals set. COMPLETELY different story. It's like they're not even made by the same company. Yes, they're big... but they are cheap, painted horribly, and flimsy. The elephant toy got so distorted in its box that it won't even stand upright. I recommend the dinosaurs, but none of the others.

The animals themselves are really great, the size is nice too as they're large. But getting only 5 animals for [$] seems expensive. Im sure there are other animals out there for less. The toys themselves deserve 5 stars, but i put three for the price.
