I gave this to my son 3 months ago. He'll be turning 3 years old this week. He can already trace all the letters and freehand quite a few. Description doesn't tell that it also teaches the sounds of the letters. He's already able to say the sound of letters when he sees them in a book. The sound no longer works (probably because of the pennies I had to remove from it), but he still uses it every day.

I bought this for my 3 yr old nephew. He likes it but it will require someone sitting with him a few minutes a day. It will be a good idea to begin with the letters of his name. He will be writing in no time

Great for travel

A great toy for teaching handwriting and honing those fine motor skills. Both my 4 year old and 2 year old have fun with this and it is portable enough to take on road trips.
