Comments about Hug Tub - Frog Pond:

I was wanting something for my 5 month old to sit in so I could bathe him with my 2 year old. Given, my 5 month old is pretty big but the hug tub wouldn't hold his weight with him sitting in the seat. It was very unstable and my little one was very wobbly which made him upset. I wouldn't suggest this, I will be trying on of the hard plastic seats instead.

      A boppy for the water

Comments about Hug Tub - Frog Pond:

There are a few reasons I don't like this tub.

First, it is basically a Boppy pillow. It doesn't help my 7 mo stay stable in the water. He ends up reclining on it.

Second, it weighs a TON when it is wet and is basically like dropping a towel in the water. It is hard to wring out and is too heavy to hang on the shampoo/soap holder.

Third, it should not be called a tub at all, the only thing that makes it different from a Boppy is that it has a small "seat" attached to it, but honestly it didn't help keep him seated.

This has been a saving grace here.. I discovered them when my twins were about 3 months old.. wish i had found it sooner. Being able to bathe them together has reduced the amount of time it takes and they are both happy and comfy

I really needed a product like this. Unfortunately this one is falling apart after only two uses. I felt my baby's back and though there was a hair there or something, then realized it was a bunch of little white fibers- the stuff this product is stuffed with. They were all over the bath- and on his face near his eyes. Going to try to return.

I have a 7 1/2 month old with Down syndrome so she's not quite sitting by herself. I thought this would be perfect! However, I had to fill the tub up quite a bit to get it to float properly, then it filled water, sunk and tipped my daughter out backwards. Obviously I was sitting right there but I will not be keeping this item. Scary.

Purchased this to use in our big tub and for bathing multiple kids at the same time. I read a complaint that it doesn't float but mine does. It does the job and I'm happy with it so far. My only complaint so far is that it's difficult to get the baby in until there is a little weight but then it sticks to the bottom of the tub.

This is great. It makes bath time very easy and comfy. My 5 mo. is a little chunky and had a hard time in the bath seats, but he loves the Hug Tub. It is easy to move him into different positions for washing and he's free enough to reach around, yet he is secure in the "C". I hang it in the shower after the bath and it is dry by the next use.
