      Preferred over Medella bags

Comments about Breastmilk Storage Bags - 25 ct - 3 Pk:

I have a Medella pump but I always buy these bags. The plastic is thinner which makes for faster warming. The Medella bags are stiff and not as easy to maneuver. The plastic is very thick and the seal is kind of tricky to get closed properly. However, the double seal on the Lansinoh bag is very secure and super easy to close properly. I lay them flat on a paper towel in the freezer then once frozen I stand them up in a long tupperware. Grandma watches our kids while we work so she is able to thumb through the stash and find the right amount. I always store bags of the current amount baby is taking plus 1 oz, 1.5 oz and 2 oz bags. We call them "oops bags" just in case someone spills when preparing the bottle. These smaller amounts also help when baby increases.

I go through a TON of these and they are wonderful. Two zippers feel secure and I've never had a leak! The ONLY thing I would change is the info tag being printed upside down. Seems odd and awkward.

I use the Simplisse/Dr. Brown's line of breast feeding accessories/pumps, but I really like these milk storage bags. I appreciate all the room there is to write the date, time and ounce amount on the top of the bag before throwing it in the freezer. I use The First Years Milk Storage Organizer with these bags. A slider compacts the packages so the milk freezes in tall thin sheets and I can get upwards of 20 storage bags in the container at once.

These bags are pretty good. They are the best priced I have found. The bags stay open when you are pouring the milk in, but they are a bit difficult to pour milk out of-we always use a funnel. I like that they lay flat, too, making it easy to store them in the freezer.

I used these bags two years ago for my older daughter and had some leakage problems. I contacted the company, and they sent me a box of one hundred for free. I now use the bags for my 10 month old and they seem to have improved the plastic they use. The bags seem more durable, and I have not had one leakage problem since I started using them this time around. I still have many bags left to defrost, so time will tell, but I currently defrost one bag per day and have had no problems whatsoever. Very pleased.

Being a working mom, I rely on storage bags. These bags are the best! They work in the freezer great, I've NEVER had them burst (have with other brands and lost milk) and easy to pour from.

i have used these bags to store breastmilk for years (4 kids) and have noticed in the last few months as I pull milk out of the freezer that the bags are frequently leaking due to holes. I have had to throw away 4 bags of milk today alone. I will not be buying more of this brand and do not recommend this product.

I agree with multiple reviews here. These bags crack and holes appear in them once they are frozen. We lost a very significant amount of milk through this. Once i spot a hole, even a small one, I have to throw out the whole bag of milk because it's no longer sterile. I originally thought that the first two bags I threw out were incidents, but as I got the third and fourth bag with a hole AND read the reviews here, I became convinced that it's the manufacturer's problem, not my storage problem.I frankly think that Diapers.com should remove from their offerings and not get associated with such a faulty product.

I use 2-4 bags a day and bring them home to freeze and this is something I've done with each of my three children over the past 8 years. Sure a few have leaked - nothing is perfect, but I've had less trouble with these bags than other bags I've tried in the past. I always come back to these. I'm not sure how the other users defrost them, that causes holes, but I always take the bags out and put them in a bowl in the fridge so if one does bust open it doesn't leave a mess and I don't lose precious milk. I'm surprised to see so many one star reviews with this product!

One thing I do wish is that they were designed to make pouring the milk out easier

These bags seem great...until you freeze them and defrost them. Holes appear everywhere even when freezing properly (less than 6oz and laid flat). I had almost 3 months worth of milk pumped and saved up so i could stop nursing when we went on vacation and I was going to be away from my son for periods of time. 1 out of every 3 bags were full of holes and i have lots TONS and TONS of precious milk. Called the company and they did NOTHING. Don't buy these, your better off buying medela and storing in smaller ounces even though they don't lay as flat or as well.

I am so disappointed in these bags. Out of a box of 50, 7 of them leaked! Some of them only leaked once frozen…others leaked WHILE pumping all over my pants at work!!!! DO NOT USE LANSINOH. The Medela bags are MUCH better, more durable, and they come with an attachment so you can pump directly into them. Ziploc bags probably would've been just as useful and would not have leaked. Don't waste your money or a drop of that precious breastmilk!!

I used these for a while with no problem, but recently I've had about half of them crack in the freezer and have lost a lot of my milk. Now I put every bag that I defrost into another larger bag so that it doesn't all go to waste- even though I hate using it knowing that it's been sitting in the freezer cracked, with freezer air seeping into the bag. At first I just threw the bags out, but I can't stand the thought of completely wiping out my supply. I switched to the ziplock brand on this website, and I'm liking them so far, but I am really disappointed with the Lansinoh ones. That's a trusted brand, and for all of us hard working breastfeeding/pumping moms, to lose 1 ounce is a tragedy, let alone 40 like I did. Just awful.

I had read a lot of reviews and a lot of people complained about leakage. I used 150 of these bags over a 5 month period and only 2 leaked.
I stored 11oz in some of the bags, but in most cases, no more than 9oz. (incidentally, a 4oz bag leaked). I kept them in my freezer, lying on top of each other and didn't put any other food items with them, nor did I really move them except when taking out to defrost. To defrost, I put them in a container in the fridge, so if they did leak, the milk wasn't wasted.
The only difficulty was if they weren't fully defrosted when trying to pour into bottles, it could be a little messy.
Otherwise, I had no problem with them and they served me well over the 5 months I used them.

There are the worst bags. I have lost so much milk. They seem fine when you fill them, but after the are frozen, the holes appear. I would not recommend these. Very disappointed!
