I got this pump with my first child, and only used it a couple of times. I had my second child a year later and started using it quite frequently. It was working great, then I could only use it if it was plugged in, then the base died. Since she is only a month old I am not impressed at all on how long it lasted.

This product works well for me. I have had it for 2 months and used it a lot, especially when I travelled. You can either plug it in or use batteries (6 AA). I used it for 3 days straight for all my feeding times and the batteries lasted for approximately 24 pumpings. The suction works well and I have never had any trouble with this pump yet. The only two suggestions I would make are (1) buy a bra you can add your suction bottles to, it gets old holding them (2) I bought velcro to put on the bottom of the bottles and on the pump bottle base. The bottles kept falling over when I had them connected to the hose.They were top heavy and the base holder isn't deep enough.

I used to have an Ameda Purely Yours that broke on me when my daughter was 5 weeks old, my daughter initially would not latch(I was pumping 10 a day to build up a supply since I had to return to work when she was 7 weeks). With the Ameda I only got 1/2 oz to 2oz per pump. My husband rushed out to [...] and picked this up 8:45pm and said it was recommended by another mom at the store. I use to dread pumping, my nipples were so sore from the ameda, but the shape of the Lasinoh flanges did not distort my nipples and I could get a good extraction of milk 3-7oz in 15-20mins. In addtion, 3 days after I purchased this, my daughter latched on since my nipples retained their shape. I work in a pediatric hospital, and have access to a hospital grade Medela pump at work and after 2 weeks just took this one to work it was so efficient. Still going strong with this pump. I just put a towel under it to reduce the noise when pumping, and the timer is handy if you pump in a room without a clock. And the letdown feature helps stimulate milk production.

I have gone through two Affinity pumps in the last few months. The motor on the first pump broke after 3 months of 3x daily use. The motor on the replacement pump broke after about 2 months. Both pumps were very loud. The breast shields collected milk around the rims and dripped when I stopped pumping. I just bought a Medela and it is far superior to the Lansinoh Affinity.

I bought this pump as a cheaper alternative to the Medela pumps. I wish I'd spent the extra money. So far, I've had to contact customer service twice; once to send replacement parts for a diaphragm cap that had broken and once to send a whole new pump package since the pump I had lost suction after only 3 months. I'm very skeptical that the replacement pump they sent will work for any length of time. Another frustrating thing is that I hand-expressed my milk while I waited for the replacement pump to arrive and got twice the amount of milk than what the pump did

I have had two of these. Each pump was used with a different child. Both pumps were used 3 to 4 times a day the first few months of use and performed well until about 6 months of use. The first pump was used because my second child stopped nursing at 6 months and I exclusively pumped the last 6 months. The second pump was used for my third child in conjunction with nursing because I produced at least twice to three times the milk I needed early on and wanted to freeze what I could for later use.

The pumps were great to travel with, so easy to clean, easy to store, quieter than other pumps in this price range, and the two I had started off with great suction (mine were the prior models to this one on here). Then, at about 6 months, the first one would turn off and then on as it pleased. Fortunately, Lansinoh replaced that one, but I was disappointed when the second one started to fizzle out on me about 6 months into use as well.

The second one didn't shut off, per se, but it would hit spots in the control where it would completely lose suction and to regain suction you would have to adjust the dial up slightly. The efficiency of the suction decreased significantly at this point and it would take me twice as long to pump half the amount. I knew they wouldn't replace a second one, but I did write them about this as they advertise this pump as a daily use pump. It could not handle 6 months of daily use. I am expecting our 4th now and will have to purchase yet another pump. It most likely will not be the Lansinoh this time, though, as I would like something that might survive longer than 6 months of use.

I bought this pump primarily based on price, ease of use and some positive reviews. I love the fact that the pump is very ease to clean, and is small and lightweight, very portable. The timer is a great add - on. Unfortunately though, the pump is extremely loud, there is no pumping in discreet. Also, I became severely engorged, and had to stop using the pump, in favor of a medela pump I rented that had a stronger motor, and provided more suction. I think this pump is great for occasional use, but not strong enough for every day use.

I bought this pump at the recommendation of a friend who had used the Lansinoh Double Electric Breast Pump a few years ago and I am so glad I did! As a first time mom, I was nervous about pumping, but this pump was so easy to use. It allows you to adjust the cycle and suction settings to your own comfort level. It also has a timer, which I understand not all pumps have. The best thing about this pump was the price! I didn't have to spend a lot of extra money for accessories I didn't need. For example, the pump is so lightweight and compact that I carry it in my diaper bag. I did not have to buy a separate bag for my pump, although you can buy the bag and other accessory items on the company's web site. I really like the idea of buying the accessories separately, which really helped me keep the price down. In the end I spent about half of what I would have spent on the Medela pump. If you're looking for an affordable and easy to use every day pump, the Lansinoh Affinity Pump is a must have!

I would definitely recommend this Lansinoh pump for the following reasons:
• It's very effective and efficient. It takes me 15-20 minutes to empty both breasts, producing 3-7 ounces of milk each time. I had pumped in the hospital with a hospital grade pump and this works just as well.
• It's comfortable to use. I don't feel any pain as you can adjust the speed and suction to your liking.
• It's compact and can be operated via battery, so I normally hook into my hands free bra and walk around my apartment doing chores.
• It's easy to pack on the go. I also bought the Lansinoh carrying case and all the components fit in there perfectly.
• It's simple to use. I was able to follow the directions to put it together and get started pretty quickly.
• It's affordable – a lot cheaper than other pumps out there, but doesn't seem to sacrifice quality.

Overall great pump! After using a single sided pump for seven weeks, I switched to the Lansinoh Affinity and won't go back! This pump is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to use. Double pumping saves me time. The pump is also small, quiet, and well worth the money!!!

I was excited to try out this pump because I really liked the original Lansinoh Double Electric pump.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this pump as it seems like a huge downgrade over the original version.

1) Extremely Loud
2) Suction is significantly lower than the original version
3) Getting way less milk with this pump than the original (5 oz/session now cut to 3oz).

Disappointed that I can't get my money back.

I was exclusively pumping for 7 months and used this product. It is easy to use, portable, and has great suction (recommend lowest speed and mid-high suction level). I used it at home and at work and was able to keep my milk supply going. It has a digital screen and a timer which are extremely useful. Also, Lansinoh is a reliable company that provides advice and product help.

This is a great pump! I currently have a 8 month old and have been using this pump daily since I returned to work in March. I love that it has a digital timer so I am able to see how long I have been pumping. I also like the letdown feature because I am able to achieve multiple letdowns just by putting myself back into the letdown phase. I usually get anywhere from 6-8 ounces per pumping session in around 10-15 minutes. I hate that I have to be away from my little guy while at work but do love that this pump is able to keep my supply intact and provide the proper nourishment for my little guy. I even took it with me on a recent girls trip and even though I forgot my adaptor, I was able to continue using the pump with 6 AA batteries and it worked just as well. I even used it a few times while on the plane (covered up of course!) and the passengers sitting next to me didn't even know the wiser!!

This pump works just they way I expected. I can express 4oz in 15 minutes after my son nurses. It took a little time to play with and figure out the best settings for my body but it was definately worth my money!
