With my first baby I tried a different brand of organic washable pads in hopes of avoiding unnecessary trash. Unfortunately, I had little success--they leaked right through and I had to double up with disposable pads anyway. That system DID allow me to go through fewer disposables, but with my second baby, I thought I would give it a try with a different brand of washables. I've had mixed results with the La Leche League pads, some days they are perfect, no leaks, and other days...leaks. So I'm back to my "double layer" system, but this time with the (old) organic washable pads inside the contoured La Leche League pads. So far so good, no leaks! I also love the discretion this double layer provides since my nursing bras and camisoles are not padded and the La Leche League pads are so nicely contoured, comfortable and invisible. Plus, I'm thrilled to be avoiding the waste of the disposables!

I got these because after reading many reviews of how pads that weren't contoured looked lumpy I figured I should get contoured pads, boy was I wrong! The contour of these pads is so severe that it sticks out past my breast looking like I have madonna breasts/shoulder pads in my bra, as a result I can't use them at all. Might work for someone who is an A or B cup...

I tried to give away the ones I hadn't used at my nursing group and no one even wanted them after seeing the shape!

Pad encompassed area needed while not leaking. Washed great. Did not lose form. I just need more so I do not have to do laundry so often. Can easily move to needed location while laying down and nipple placement shifts.

All other breast pads, washable and disposable, can get lost down in your bra after feedings. No one wants to be digging in their clothes to find, flatten, and re-position a lost breast pad, especially in public! These pads stay in place, bounce back into their original shape, even after machine washing and drying, and are super absorbent. They have no seams to show through clothes, they're soft, I love them.

I used disposable bra liners with my first. They were itchy and leaked frequently. Not to mention I had to always remember to buy more. I decided to buy these based on the reviews I read. I was looking for something economical, practical and a little more Earth friendly. They are soft, comfortable, easy to clean and they work very well. If I go really long between feeding they do get moist but I've never majorly leaked through. I love that I can toss them in the washer and dryer. They haven't so much as frayed!!!!

These pads are a little large and tend to show a little bit in the Demi nursing bras but full coverage bras hide them completely. They also feel quite thin but I have had no leaks thus far. They are much more comfortable than disposable pads and I love that they can be thrown in with the laundry. I went through so many disposables each day, it felt very wasteful. Also, the disposables seemed to develope hard lumps where the milk soaked into them and I haven't noticed that with these.

You can't see them through your shirts. I see others complaining that they are not very absorbant but leaks are not a problem for me right now.

I was a customer who read a lot of the reviews before I purchased this product but decided to take the good against the bad. This product is non-absorbent! DEFINITELY NOT for night time when you're not feeding as much. When I wake up in the night to feed the baby, the other breast's milk leaks directly through this nursing pad. NOT what I was looking for!

I'm very happy with these pads. They fit inside my bras perfectly, are comfortable, don't fall out, contain milk leaks, and don't show through my clothes. Also, they are easy to wash in a lingerie bag in the washing machine, and I lay them out to dry. I like them much better than the sticky backed disposable kind.

I like these more than the disposable pads. They fit nicely and not visible through my shirts. They've been machine washed for 6 months now and still hold up great!! If I don't do laundry right away, I soak them in water and a little bit of vinegar, air dry and put them in the washer later.

These are smooth, soft, and breathe. I am completely happy with them. They might be a problem for someone who leaks a lot.
