I used the product with my 11 month old grand daughter but have found it even more helpful with patients (elderly). In both cases, this product provides an accurate device which reads temperature without physical contact. This product is extremely helpful and useful for every age group. I highly recommend it, it is worth every penny. This is an excellent product, every home health care worker should purchase one.

The idea is you hold it 2-3 inches from the surface you want a temperature reading from such as forehead, and it gives you a reading in seconds with a click of a button. Sounds like a dream come true, however I was irritated by having to select the desired surface reading each time I used it, and that it turned off automaticall too quickly before I could take the reading. Also recently my 10 month old was having fevers of 103-105 rectally but I was getting readings of unto 4 degrees less with this device.

This is a great thermometer. Love that I can take the temperature of my son without having to wake him. I also love how sanitary it is. On a more practical side it appears to be of solid build and above average quality materials. Time will tell though if it can last through the kids finding and playing with it.

I purchased the 5 in 1 Non Contact Thermometer because of having a sister that has MS. I have to take her temperature all times of the day and this proves to be the most resourceful thermometer I have found. During the night she does not have to be awaken, so it is very easy on her and myself. I will be purchasing more this holiday season to be used on our grandchildren. This is a wonderful product.
