    Comments about Large Kitchen:

I loved this kitchen for my little girls, and it was a very sentimental purchase for me to buy it for them. A couple of days ago, though, the oven door fell off. The particle board around the connecting joint just cracked and broke. I contacted the company to see if I could PURCHASE a replacement oven door (wasn't looking for a freebie), and got this response:

"We carry a very limited amount of replacement parts and these must be reserved for initial defects or damage in transit for in warranty consumers.

You may want to consult a hardware store for repairs."

I think this is pretty unbelievable, especially for a company that manufacturers TOYS that will inevitably go through a lot of wear and tear from kids. Now my sentimental purchase is reduced to junk and there's nothing I can do about it other than do some kind cheap patch up job (super glue maybe? I don't even know).

This product arrived broken and damaged. I would not recommend it. We were really looking forward to having this set up for our daughters birthday. Now we are left needing a quick gift due to this being damaged.

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this kitchen. The oven knobs stopped clicking after about 1 month and KidKraft promptly sent a whole new panel....they were wonderful to deal with. The primary colors make this a perfect kitchen for boys also. My 5 year old nephew likes to play with this too. Best of all, the only noise it makes is the clicking knobs...beyond that the kids have to use their imagination.

            Comments about KidKraft Large Kitchen:

I am a mom of 3, 4 year old boy/girl twins and an 8 year old boy. I am also an early childhood teacher and am super picky about the toys that I buy for my kids. After much consideration I purchased this kitchen for my twin's 4th birthday. They had a Little Tikes kitchen before this which 1)did not hold up to frequent use from my twins (they removed the faucet and the refrigerator door within the first few months) and 2)did not have a lot of space in the oven or refrigerator to put any food. We could not be more pleased with this new KidKraft kitchen set. I thought the colors would bother me, but they are adorable. It looks like a real kitchenette set and my kids love putting all of their play food in the big refrigerator/freezer and baking cookies or pizza in their oven. They are not bothered by the fact that this kitchen does not make electronic sounds and they just supply the sounds when they want to. I love that the oven and dishwasher doors open on the side so as to prevent the kids from standing on them. When my son first saw this kitchen assembled he said excitedly "this is so much better" and he was right. This kitchen is well worth the money.

We have had this kitchen set for almost two years and it been heavily used (and abused :) by our two small children. The set looks good but it is also very sturdy. Our kids love cooking and we have a some sort of party with cakes and food almost every night. We strongly recommend it. It was well worth the investment for us.

                Comments about Large Kitchen:

We just got this kitchen yesterday and my daughter is more happy and awake than ever. Yep! Awake! She's so excited with it that she went to bed yesterday until daddy put together all the pieces for the item (around 11:30 pm) and she woke up today at 6:30 am. Actually, I fell asleep before them hahaha. Well, the kitchen is beautiful and great quality. I'm sure my lil' princess (She's 2 yrs old) will spend hours of fun on it, even though this kitchen is for 3 yrs +. We decided to buy this kitchen, instead of the ones recommended for 2 yrs old 'cause we're sure that this one will enternain her longer. We're thinking, at least until she's 6 or 7. We just loved it! And it looks that she doesn't get tired of "cooking"... :)

                Comments about KidKraft Large Kitchen:

I ordered this several years ago. My girls still play with it once a week. Fits the Melissa and Doug food sets. They bake pizza and cookies in the oven. Lots of storage for our vast collection. Which is nice too. I assembled myself took about a week or 3 hours if you do it in one go. If there are pieces damaged or missing order at kidkrafts web site. They are free and ship fast, it is very heavy and best to assemble in the place it will stay. Typical of flat pack furniture. Phone is lame but all other pieces are great. Burners click when you turn the dial.
