great safety product

Comments about KidCo Universal Outlet Cover:

I think these outlet covers are great! Installation was a breeze, and they work well to keep my curious daughter safe. My vacuum plug falls out of only 1 outlet cover (out of many installed throughout the house) which installed a little loosely -- I believe this is an outlet issue (uneven, juts out a little from the wall), rather than a cover problem. No problems using the rest of the covers with any other electrical appliances, so I would definitely recommend.

We use these in several areas, even difficult to access areas and I have no problem with them. They're simple to use one handed-just put the plug up against the insert grooves and lightly push to the side. This is what I do to plug something in behind furniture. My husband put these on and the first time I used one was in the dark...I simply felt for the grooves with the plug, slid, and whala! So far everything has stayed plugged in just fine. Our house is 30yrs old, if that helps your decision.

I thought these were a great idea, but nothing I plug in stays plugged in in them. The cover is too strong and simply pushes the plug out. I regret buying so many and putting them all over my house. But if you don't plan to use the plug at all, I guess it would be fine. There are much cheaper covers for that purpose, though.
