These covers fit my wall sockets completely and my 23 month old son can't seem to figure out how to open them! He loves (to my dismay) to plug things into sockets- vacuums, nightlights, you name it- needless to say I am uncomfortable with this. These socket covers were super easy to install onto the wall, needing only one screw and done! The sliding covers arer just genius!

I've been using these for 2 years now & recently bought more as we moved & have more outlets. These work great and they look good too! I hate the platic pieces that you plug into the outlets, they can be so hard to remove (even the more expensive ones!), and you have to make sure they're not where baby can get them if you plug something in temporarily. Definitely recommend this product.

I am happy to finally have these outlet covers, I had been searching everywhere for them. I was only dissapointed by the size, they don't quite cover the entire hole in the wall from where the previous normal size outlet was. If they were a bit bigger these would be perfect, but it gets the job done. My son hasn't tried to plug anything into them as he doesn't understand where the holes are.

I tried a few different covers, and these are the best. The individual outlet covers are a pain to take on and off everytime you want to use them. These were close in color to our original covers, aren't obviously "baby proofed", easy for us to use but baby can't figure it out. Perfect!

We have a number of outlets in our home that we just couldn't hide with furniture so got these plates to prevent little fingers from learning a painful lesson. The plates are very easy to install and still allow easy of use for the outlets. The design is smart and strong enough that our 9 month old cannot slide the covers to get access to outlet (we tested these before we put them over a live outlet). Compared to plastic plugs. these are much easier to use, especially for an outlet you may use frequently, and we like that there's no chance of a plastic plug getting misplaced and ending up in baby's mouth.

I love these outlet covers! Much easier than taking out the plastic plugs every time you want to use an outlet. They are slightly smaller than our original outlet covers so we had to use a little touch up paint, but no big deal. Great product and I would highly recommend!

These outlet covers are easy to install, work perfectly and are much easier to use than the plastic 'plug' type protectors.

These come with 3 different size (length) screws, which came in very handy since we live in an older house that has varied depths from outlet to outlet. These are perfect if you have a crawler/explorer like I do and you don't want to mess with the traditional 'plug' outlet.

I love them.

This was wonderful with my first child whom never seemed to care about plugs. They worked well until my girl came along. She's able to slide the protective piece to the side and insert other fingers inside outlet. once she figured this out she does this very quick!

I do recommend these over the old plug inserts, since those become a choking hazard too. They do occasitionally get stuck in the open postion, so take time to make sure it shuts, if you do choose these. Maybe theres a better option out there??

I only recommened these to people who will be constantly watching their children or whose outlets are blocked by furniture etc. They do slow down the process a little.

This product is easy to install and very easy for adults to figure out and use. My 2.5 year old son has figured out almost every "kid proof" safety device we have, but not these! Now we can have exposed outlets rather than block them with furniture or try to hide them from curious eyes.

We had a professional company install these outlet covers for our first son's room when they were child-proofing our house. It was nice to see that Diapers.com sells these as they are very easy to install. Just screw off the old plate cover and replace it with this one. We are doing the purchase and install ourselves with our second son's bedroom and other rooms in the house. If you have a curious toddler that wants to try to play with the electrical cords plugged into outlets, these are a must. Our 22 month old son can not plug items into these outlets by himself. It provides us with peace of mind that he is not going to electrocute himself accidentally if we happen to turn our backs for a minute. We have these outlet covers installed throughout our house. It is one of the minimum things you should do when child-proofing your house.

These work great. My son has tried to stick things in the sockets multiple times but can't. They are very easy for us to use and not like the horrid little plastic plugs that hurt your fingers and have to go find tools to get off. I gave it 4 stars because they install a little loosely on many of our outlets, I found it very hard to get them flush with the wall and tight. A few are still a bit loose so I have to push them around to get the outlet lined up with the cover, maybe they should come with little pieces of remove-able felt to stabilize it for some... but it is still 100x easier than those other plug covers!!

Takes 2 seconds to install and work great. Good quality, and I am ordering a bunch more. The only reason I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is because I had one outlet where I couldn't quite get it as flush to the wall...but it very well could have been the outlet, not the cover. Highly recommend, much easier to swap out than I even anticipated.

Might be great for 3-prong outlets but says you can't use them with older, ungrounded two-prong outlets. Wish I had known before I ordered!

These are wonderful! Easy to use and they work. Don't waste your time with the Safety 1st "swivel" outlet covers. These will protect your child and you can still use the outlet!
