We bought this travel bed for our 10 month baby. We traveled for a month, half the time in an RV. She loved the bed and slept great in it. It was very easy to set up every night and put aside every morning. It is so small and light weight that it is so easy to cary anywhere.

The peapod is very cute and functional. My 5 month old baby loves to lay inside and play with her toys. I wish it was a little taller, I'm not sure she will be able to play sitting up in it. She took an hour nap in it with the flap unzipped. I also used it zipped up outside to protect her from doggy kisses and flies.

We got this for our 4 month old daughter and her first international trip to Costa Rica to visit my father. We thought it would work as a place to sleep, keeping out insects and keeping her from rolling or scooting. You can use it on the floor or since she isn't moving much, we put it on a low twin size bed. We also thought it would be good for the beach, and although it seems great in all respects for the beach, with all the heat and humididty in Costa Rica at this time, it was a bit stiffling and didn't allow her to catch much of a breeze. would probably be great in slightly cooler conditions. Also, we still ended up using an umbrella too, to get exta sun protection and shade as she was squinting even in the shade of the tent.

Otherwise, it's super easy to carry, pack and unpack and set up. The mattress is just like a sleeping pad - more or less self inflatable and you can also blow into it for 2 seconds to fill it up.

We just used our PeaPod for a trip to Florida with our 7 month old. Not only did it fit conveniently in our suitcase, she slept comfortably and it doubled as a soft play area on hard floors. It was so easy to pop-up and use that we're looking forward to many more trips. You can't beat the price, size, and practicability of the PeaPod.

I've also purchased the PeaPod Lite for use on the beach. Can't wait for summer!

The Pea Pod is great for travel or afternoon outings. I found it easy to fold once I got the hang of the twist and turn. I'm buying two for friends enjoyment.

Our 8 month old baby loves playing in her PeaPod. We haven't used it to sleep yet, but it seems like a great alternative to a pack and play. Much lighter and easier to break down and set up.

I hate this thing!! Persuaded by the great reviews, I bought one to take with us on various trips away and every time I really want to like it because it's so lightweight and portable but it's just so. useless. she's never managed to sleep in it!

The main problem is it's hard to get the baby in/out of it, because the opening is sort of to the side. Our 9 month old daughter would roll out of it unless we zipped it up - but the zipper is SO LOUD and sticky that she wakes up every time I try to close it, then freaks out to be trapped inside it and tries to crawl out. The material also is noisy, so it's just hard to work with. It also takes up a fair amount of space on the floor so I've tripped on it more than once, thankfully when my daughter wasn't in it.

Gave it to my cousin to use as a dog bed. It makes a great dog bed.

We purchased the Peapod for a weekend trip to avoid lugging around a pack n play. I wish we had it for our first son because it is almost effortless to set up and packs away quickly. Folding it back up takes some practice (more for me than my husband). The self inflating mat provides just enough padding. The only part that is missing from this is a sheet or blanket that can be secured to the floor of the tent. We used a heavier quilt and it worked well for our 4 month old, but a fitted sheet around the mat will probably be needed once he moves around more. Overall we love this thing!

Right out of the box, I opened up the peapod to see what it would look like, and it is a real nice size for my 7 month old son. I like that it is just a pop open "tent". I have set it up in my living room at the moment, and anytime my son takes a nap I place him in there so that he gets used to the surroundings before we actually leave on the trip, I threw a few toys in there to aid the comfort level. In which, we used it as a small playpen as well which is a nice addition. I do recommend putting a crib sheet or a covering over the inflatable mattress, for comfort. I can't wait, to use it now, that I don't have to rely on Hotel/resort Cribs and such, plus as well when he visits the grandparents..

We brought this on a trip to visit my family. My two sons and I stayed in a hotel and this was much better than a hotel crib. I was able to get it out of the box and together in less than five minutes. My son slept in it for two nights and was perfectly comfortable. I swaddled him so he was on his own blankets. When he gets a little older and outgrows the swaddle I will put a pillow case over the mattress (just make sure it is tucked under well). I had read reviews where people put Velcro on the mattress and the bottom of the pod to keep the mattress from moving. I looked and did not see that the mattress could move much but always an option if you are concerned. Unlike some reviews, I had no trouble folding the pod back up - just follow the directions. Everything fit back into the bag and was the easiest item to travel with. Fit right into my overnight bag.
I will use it on our trip to Disneyland in a few weeks and during the summer while visiting family. I will also use it outside for naps when the weather is nicer and we spend great amounts of time outdoors. It has great ventilation through the mesh sides and it makes it easy to keep an eye on him. Next time I go to the park I will bring it so my youngest can nap without the worry of direct sunlight and bugs!

We bought this for our 3-month old to sleep in before going on vacation. It was super easy to set up, and he loved it right away. He slept in it for 3 weeks straight - no problems.

The self inflatable mattress provides enough padding. We used a sheet over it for extra softness (just make sure it's big enough so you can tuck in under the sides).

It's light and small, so it's easy to carry while traveling. We put in the bottom of the stroller.

I also found it very easy to assemble and put back in the bag when done, it's just a question of folding it the right way. Just be careful the first time you take it out of the bag, because it pops open right away!

I would not recommend it for cold weather since it does not provide any real isolation. But other than that, great product and I would definitely buy it again!

I bought this travel bed for our first long distance trip with baby when he was 3 months. It was great. Assembles in seconds and easy to fold and put back into the carrying case. I just put the whole thing in my suitcase. I also brought along the foam sleeping wedge that the baby uses in the crib and put it in the tent - it was soft enough to stuff into the suitcase. I used the tent in our hotel room and at my in-laws' house. It worked out great. No need to use a hotel crib.

We just got the peapod in the mail today in preparation for a trip that I wanted something small to keep my 11 week old in and not have to lug the pack n' play. I wanted to try it out before our trip to make sure we could get it all back together after reading the review about it being difficult.

It popped right out of the bag, filled with air (we blew in it to make it go a little faster), super easy set up. It was a little bit smaller than I expected based of the photo alone, but it's actually perfect I wouldn't want it any bigger for the purpose that we got it for. It feels nice and sturdy and definitely strong.

My 22 month old took to it immediately even though I got it for her brother to sleep in. She played in it for over an hour.

Putting it away was a cinch. I followed the photo directions to make sure I was doing it properly and it folded right together and went back in the bag. The mattress deflated with some pressure and went in as well.

Looking forward to using it while we travel, we might need to get a second one at this rate! I did take one star away only for the price, and really a whole star is too much. I'd like to see it just slightly less expensive, but all in all, it's a good buy so far!

I bought this product to use while my husband and I took our twins to Europe. They were a disaster. They set up easily but then putting them back in the bag was a nightmare. It was impossible to break down. It took 3 people to put the pods back into the bag but we could not fit the mattresses back into the bag. We put them into our suitcase without the air in it after closing the valve and they blew up in our suitcase. One of them was defective. I would NEVER recommend this product to anyone. We had to go out and buy beds for our twins because of this disaster. I bought it because of good reviews that I read.

This product is excellent. My husband and I were so happy when we got it for a gift. We travel a lot and it is easier to take with you than the playpen. We also used it on the beach my son was two months and slept very well. Most useful item we own for our son. I recommend it to all parents.
