What a waste of money! Does not stay on. My one year old easily pulls it off. This would have to be put on with adhesive to be any help.

Comments about Hearth Guard:

I thought this would be great for our fireplace area. Set up was fine but when I started a fire in the fireplace I smelled burning and this was melting and smoking and stunk up the house. I guess if you are never going to have a fire in your fireplace this would be a good item for you but if you plan on actually using your fireplace have a fire extinguisher handy! Definetly not happy about this product.
