I bought this product because you can easily travel with it, unlike an activity saucer that your baby would sit in. This folds up quite easily and takes up no room; however my babies feet dangle about 6 inches off the ground and sits really low in it. This is not good for the hips, since it is not ergonomically correct (the seat) to dangle in. I'm afraid that once it actually fits my baby, she will be walking and moving around and will not care to stay in it. I bought it so she could sit-up and be entertained, not to keep her from being mobile. One thing you could do is put a box underneath your babies feet?

Needed something to 'hold' one baby while I took care of their twin. They have outgrown their bouncy chairs and my boy tries to climb out of the playpen, so this item helps me keep one twin contained, they enjoy standing, and I like that I can take it with us to friends homes and when I'm in a pinch can also use it when I need to feed them their solids. Don't know what I would do without it!

I bought this to travel with for my 8 month old who loves her excersaucer at home. This is the BEST PRODUCT EVER! She loves being in it and it was so great to have her safe and entertained in one place! There is no assembly- it's ONE piece and it folds back up with one button. It looks like it would be complicated, but it's not. You can attach toys to the fabric loops with those plastic links. You can also adjust the height too. A really great option for travel, beach, pool area, outdoors.... really well worth the money!!!!
