I'm a bit troubled over this lever lock. It worked fabulously for a week when it with together and affixed properly. That's before the unstoppable 2 (cousins) got together and they figured out how to take it apart and were out the door within a weekend. Maybe if it would not be so easy to take off the lever it would be toddler proof. **Notice-I do recommend as long as you don't have Mr. Fix IT, as a toddler in your house**

I was hesitant to purchase these at first because of the reviews, but I got them and they do the job. Easy install (I used the adhesive, not the screws) and it stays on very well. The overall construct is a little shaky, but it keeps my 18 month olds from opening doors (and they've tried.) I'm happy with these, but as they get older may have to find another solution. My guess is that these will last for atleast the next 6-12 months. Just fyi, an older child/guest (8 years old) tore this off trying to get into the bathroom (should have told her how to open properly...) and the paint did come off where the adhesive part was adhered to the door. But would take paint over putting holes into my door anyday.

Product is great. Easy install. I did the adhesive mount first and thought if I had to use the screws I would. It's been about 3 months and knob is still very secure. My little one lost interest once she figured there was no way to open. I am so glad for this product as I couldn't find anything like it at [@]

Good for the price (especially if you have a lot of lever door handles like me). Just does not seem very sturdy. I try not let my son mess with it too much because I used the adhesive installation and I hear the adhesive ripping from the door when he pulls at the handle (or when I can't open the silly thing). It is difficult to open with only one hand, unlike the Safety 1st lever lock. Overall, I keep waiting for this thing to break, and then I will replace with the Safety 1st lever lock.
