My toddler climbed over the baby crib rail one night. A few days later, I installed this rail to convert her baby crib to toddler bed. Now she doesn't fall out of bed anymore and gives me peace of mind. These convertible crib rails are not easy to find and there are not many options available. The product is metal rods with fabric mesh. It's not a good looking product per se nor does it match my crib except for the white color. I wish there would have been a nice wood option available that's easily purchased and ships fast. Otherwise this is a great product for its intended purpose. Also very easy to install.

I bought it when I transistioned my daughter from the crib to the toddler bed. It prevented her from falling out of the bed and so she stopped sleeping on the floor. Really fast installation, the bed rail with the cover is already on it when it arrives.

We needed something to help keep our son from falling out of bed after we converted it to a toddler bed. I bought the bed rail from Babies R Us and it was junk! It took up the entire length of the crib, so he couldn't crawl out. We are wanting him to be able to crawl out and in by himself, but also protect from falling. This rail is perfect! Made well and did the job! Buy it!!

When we converted our daughter's crib to a toddler bed, we definitely knew we needed some sort of bed rail. I didn't realize that this was going to be such a challenge! Knowing that we weren't going to use this for too long, we didn't want to spend too much. We had bought a different one but it was assuming that we had some sort of box spring type set-up underneath the mattress and would not secure to the bed without it, so we had to return it. We then bought one that was for use with a twin/full bed and it worked, but left such a small opening for my daughter to get out of bed, it was practically the same thing as her being in the crib. So finding this one was a great find and so far it has been great... feels very secure and it the perfect size for the crib converted toddler bed.

We have a drop-side crib that has been discontinued so were no longer able to get the toddler rail. This rail made it a breeze to switch from crib to toddler bed. It's the perfect length to allow room for our 2 and 1/2 year old to climb in. And sturdy enough that it holds her in when she leans against it.
Easy to install. Great price. Would definitely recommend it.

This is a great crib rail and I would highly recommend it. It's the perfect size for our crib as it allows our DD to get in/out of bed but she can't accidentally roll off the bed at night.

Our 2 year old (26 months)figured out how to escape from her crib, so we made the decision to move her to her toddler bed. (We did try a crib tent, only to find that it would not fit our crib with the back being higher than the front and the front rail too thick for the velcro to wrap around.) We have a Graco crib that converted to a toddler bed. We originally ordered a standard bed rail, only to find that the length did not allow room for her to climb out at night, and it had just enough space on either side that she could potentially get her head stuck on either end.We sent it back and ordered this crib rail. [...]This crib rail is uber-easy to assemble...3 minutes, tops. No tools required. It is just the right size for the bed. We showed our daughter one time how to climb in and out of her bed and she got it right away. The rail itself is sturdy. It holds her in even when she leans right up against it. When her face gets close to the mesh, she can still breath just fine. The only thing I noticed during the first couple of nights was that if she rubbed the mesh material in her sleep, like if her foot when she rolled over, it would wake her up. She's gotten used to it now, though.Overall, it's a terrific product and just right for making that transition...especially if you have a convertible crib bed. Oh, and the price is just right compared to the wooden versions!
