Comments about Adjustable Locking Strap - White:

This is the best lock for an oven. I had the multi-purpose latch on one oven door and this on the other. Although my kids never opened either of them, this one I was positive they could not operate, so I didn't worry about them seeing me open it. They can contemplate this one all they want but they won't be able to do the two-handed operation it takes to open it. (I've actually become dextrous enough to do it with one hand but a toddler could not.)

I even put one of these on our bathroom door, on the outside, because I got tired of the babies getting in there after they figured out the standard door handle plastic cover thing. This is not a listed use for it but I couldn't think of anything else on this particular day, so I stuck it on there. It has actually been amazing.

If I had room to put these on the oven still, they'd be there. We put in cabinets, so there isn't room, which is something you should know before you buy them...you've got to be able to reach around the side of your oven to stick them on and to operate them (clip should be in the back).

          A great product though.

Comments about Adjustable Locking Strap - White:

Just wanted to comment again about the babyproofing strap. The second one I installed is working better and I decided two aren't necessary for a lazy susan cabinet. I'm not sure if it's the way I installed this one or that it's on the other side or what, but this one seems like it will keep my baby out of the cabinet and not pose much risk for pinched fingers. I'll keep the other one around in case he's more difficult later. It is somewhat annoying to use but it's less annoying than keeping your kid out of the cabinet, and I doubt there are many if any better options out there.

Comments about Adjustable Locking Strap - White:

I ordered one for my lazy susan and put it on the day it arrived. It worked great- one way. If I push the lazy susan toward the side I installed the latch on, it easily pops open! I just ordered a second one and plan to put it on the other side. Fortunately customer service is sending that one with free shipping and it will be here tomorrow. So get two if you want this item for a lazy susan. It's easy to install with the adhesive and I'm glad there are screw holes I can use if the adhesive wears off later. Good product, but they should have given more information up front. One latch is NOT sufficient for a lazy susan.

These are the only locks I could find to secure the glass doors on our entertainment center; adhesive side on the glass, screwed into the wood on the other side. They hold the doors tight- there's no play in them like with spring locks.

I also used these locks to solve a problem with our plastic toybox. My toddler loved flipping it over and climbing it to reach things he shouldn't. I put one lock on each side, with the adhesive on the sides of the toybox, then screwed the other sides into the wall with anchors. Works great, and I can unlock them and move the toybox to clean.

I plan to use these locks to secure the fridge and the trashcan in the kitchen. They are so useful, and you can buy them in dark grey so they blend in with darker furniture.

I applied to a set of bi-fold doors in the pantry over 4 years ago. They still work perfectly. Some of the other safety items I installed during that same period are failing, so I am purchasing more of these to apply to kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

I used this on my kitchen cabinet door. I "latched" it while installing to make sure it was lined up correctly, then immediately unlocked it and left it unlocked for the recommended 24 hrs. Works wonderfully to keep my 13 month old, and my 2 1/2 yr. old out!

My 18 months toddler girl used to open the cabinets in the kitchen, where there are dangerous chemicals and different food flavor and sauces. So I purchased this and it works great. It's hard for toddler to figure out how to open it, but not hard for adults. However, I hope the adhesive are reusable, so i don't have to purchase some more new ones with a student's pocket when i move to another place next year.
