We wanted to avoid having to drill into our kitchen drawers and these were the only non-drill option we could find. Our drawers are very heavy (we don't have cabinets) and these work, but the adhesive isn't all that strong. I'm pretty sure if we forget the locks are there and pull hard enough, eventually they will come off! But for now they are adequate. Be aware that these locks are HUGE, and I think that's why they are a bit pricey.

While pricey, I LOVE these latches. These are easy to use and easy to install.

When the directions are followed, the adhesive holds VERY well. (While no adhesive will be as strong as screws, I have not had any of the problems with this product as other reviewers have complained.) Attaching the screws once the adhesive starts to come off is not a problem for me and I prefer the general design to that of other latches.

The only negative comment I have regarding this product is that the design of these latches requires more space than most others. If not for that drawback, I would use these on ALL of my cabinets.

I bought this product for our kitchen cabinet drawers because my Husband and I didn't want to screw into the drawers. Thank God we only opened one to try first so that I could send the rest back!!! I think it only worked for 3 times of the drawer being opened and then it wouldn't stick anymore. Do not waste your money on this product!

I will admit that I just installed it today, so I can't speak as to how it will hold up. However, it was easy to install and seems it will do the job. Our 16 month old has become our big helper and enjoys throwing things away... however we've found things that don't belong in the trash, such as coasters, vacuum attachments, and bracelets. Not sure what else we've lost in there! So it was time for this. My only complaint is that it seems expensive for only ONE piece. Somehow I got it into my head I was going to get 4 (must have confused it with a different product I was looking at) so I was a bit disappointed I only got one. However, it's on the one cupboard to the trash can so I think we'll be okay. Just wish it were a bit cheaper.

It's a good idea but it doesn't work. The adhesive is not strong enough and my 15month old got our kitchen drawers open after only a few attempts.
Don't spend the money on this product - go with the one that screws in!

It doesn't get much easier then this product. They mount easily and I have had not problems with them coming off after months of use. Make sure you clean the surface where you plan to mount it with alcohol first to ensure a good adhesion.

We installed these on four drawers and they have come off of three of them. We were not used to having them on the drawers, so we pulled hard and they came unstuck. They are very expensive and we still ended up screwing them in so they would stay in place.

it looks a little confusing but its not by any means difficult. dont let your kids pull on it right away, give it a chance to set. they work great. much easier to install then the ones with screws and easier to open on the parents.

These were extremley hard to install and then did not stick. We got the magnet lock - those actually worked and very well.

I purchased this type of Drawer lock because I didn't want to put screws in my new cabinets. The adhesive is not strong enough to even hold the drawer closed, not to mention a toddler pulling it. Why pay so much when you can purchase the less expensive locks.

They install easily but it doesn't take much force to pull the locks off the adhesive. My husband forgot the locks were installed and accidentally tore them all off while opening the cabinets. So the only way these will work is if you screw them on.

I bought two hesitantly b/c of the one comment stating they were "trash". However, I took a shot and they work wonderfully. My husban told me they "were easy to install" and the two pieces do not need to be installed perfectly in order to hitch. Great product!

I found this a waste of money. My 15mo worked out how to open these 'child-proof' locks within only 3 weeks (and he's not a genius).

Sorry for the folks who had trouble with installation, but we had none. This product totally does what it promises, and looking at pictures will help with installation. The only hassle is giving the adhesive 24 hours to dry.

If you would rather mount with hardware (A LOT more difficult in my opinion) feel free. Otherwise, take the time to figure out where to mount these exactly, then mount them. (Using hardware is just as specific?) These are brilliant. I'm going to order some more right now! Esp. good in difficult to use areas (glass cabinet)...
